Not sure whether EM was looking pleased at our efforts yesterday, or upset at our missed chances. He looked moved, but not sure which way!
He's trending on twitter, so they collated a bunch of content that has been published so many times no one can claim plagiarism. The Telegraph have also written an "expose" on EM.
Evangelos Marinakis: Combustible Nottingham Forest owner behind extraordinary attacks on officials
Greek shipping mogul who shocked English football with outburst about ‘Luton fan’ VAR has a rich history of losing his patiencewww.telegraph.co.uk
Quite the coincidence that they've all written something this weekend!
Interestingly 99% of the comments under the article are in support.
I agree; we should go back to those times when we knew and accepted our place.Much more worryingly for me than relegation is where the club is going under this regime..
Evangelos Marinakis confident Nottingham Forest will stay in Premier League
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis says he is "confident" the club will stay in the Premier League.www.bbc.co.uk
In that case he's probably a member of this forum.Comes across as thick as mince and petulant.
No wonder he shies away from the media.

I thought you of all people ray would cut him some slack for doing an interview in English! Still rather have him than a faceless investment company.Comes across as thick as mince and petulant.
No wonder he shies away from the media.
Well I can't speak two languages like your good self.Ayow thik as mince Proff??
More accurately, according to some folk!In that case he's probably amemberModerator of this forum.
Except for when he speaks to the media. No wonder he shies away from the media.
Correct. The PL and their media lackies can shove it, Marinakas is soundI see the local rag referred to it as an angry rant, utter bollox as usual. Thought it was pretty measured under the circumstances and more than I would’ve been if they’d asked me.
One thing I enjoy here is the realization of how important cultural differences are. If you think the guy comes across as petulant in this interview, you should see some other statements by Greek owners, shareholders, CEOs, or managers -over there they'd be sued for most of them, I guess. To give you an idea, EM himself when talking to the press after the win against Aston Vila, did not fail to rant against the Greek Football Federation and the government. After a win. With tears of joy in his eyes.Comes across as thick as mince and petulant.
No wonder he shies away from the media.
Exactly.Thought he was quite restrained in that interview, with the leading questions.
Wish I was as confident of survival as he was.
Forest going places if we do by the sounds of it, metaphorically and literally perhaps.

It's not like the media to want to stir the pot. Fwiw I thought he came across well in the interview.I actually think that theres a couple of well worded answers in there, but, the media don't see them as that.
