• All - you probably don't need to be told, but....
Despite the Admins' best efforts some spammers/scammers/scalpers are getting through the entry system and are, astonishingly, in possession of FA Cup tickets that they, astonishingly, don't want!

It's probably a scam, and either way it's a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, (as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) to offer or expose tickets for sale.

Please DO NOT engage with these people - please REPORT any threads/posts offering tickets for sale in case we've not caught them.
    Thanks!

Linked 22 year old midfielder & winger. Currently at AC Milan and also USA international.

Newcastle and Villa also interested.

Remember watching him in pre season the year we went up and he ran the show. Very athletic.

Not sure how his development has gone though since. Also seemed to be more of an 8 which we have a lot of already

We have been linked with him a couple of windows now

Either he’s got a persistent agent or we are long term admirers

Yeah I was at the game at Meadow Lane and he looked very useful, a real handful, almost everything went through him for a long period.

Not against the potential of this one at all.

I know that Nuno that I know that Nuno that I know
Had a chat with Huxley about him in a different thread in January. Sounds like he’s a no8 but would be an improvement on Sangare at 6

It's a very small sample size, but I went to Milan three weeks ago and watched Milan play Lazio. Milan as a team were awful, but Musah was the worst of the lot. He stunk the place out and got hooked after 37 minutes.

Hopefully (for him) that wasn't reflective of his ability, but he was awful. Truly awful.

Worse then Fofana!?! :D

The thing with Musah is he's fast, strong, skillfull can beat players can play in a variety of positions but with almost unerring consistency will pick the wrong option when push comes to shove.

See a classic example here from the weekend.. It's the first highlight. He does well, until the end.

With the way we play & the need to be clinical when we do strike, that kind of finishing is the last thing we need.

Just had a look at some highlights. His decision making in the final third looks incredibly poor. I'm looking at this with a potential CL hat on as I remember thinking he looked ok when we were first linked a few years ago.

After your previous assessments....which have all turned out to be true......I'm definitely trusting you on this one.

No reliable links anyway thankfully.

He sounds like the reincarnation of Franz Carr!

(Sorry, Franz!)

They were both awful and when the sub was made I wasn't sure initially which if them was being hooked. Could easily have been either- or both!!

As far as I can tell the only difference is Fofana can't take people on but the end result is much the same.

There's a player there but his versatility means he gets put in places where he's set up to fail. He might make a perfectly good Kante type energetic ball winner and then give it to someone decent player, but I'm not sure he has the discipline. As I say, I've only seen him in a hugely dysfunctional Milan side.

I guess this is where we have to hope the coaching and scouting team are working together.

From what you say there are a lot of very forest type skills in that assessment so at 22, if we did go for him I suspect that would be a plan to mould him and get the most out of him

If he had all that and good decision making he wouldn’t even be an option. We have to find players with defects we believe we can rectify or work around.

Would be dreamland if Forest signed Musah - he and Timothy Weah my favorite American guys on the National Team for potential

His first half was decent. Second half he was poor yesterday. That botched clearance that he attempted that gave Panama a corner was hilarious.

I’m not 100% clear on the rules but he left Arsenal to join Valencia at 16 so not convinced he would be classed as home grown?
He counts as home grown in the Premier League rules but not UEFA rules - to make it even more complicated.

But that shouldn't matter as we have plenty of HG players, it is club players we will struggle with.

US team was pathetic last night. Embarrassing.
Yeah they were horrible. Pochettino doesn't give a flying f*** anymore. I didn't really see the Americans adjust much, except to up their intensity in the earlier portion of the second half.

Pulisic, in particular, was so incredibly bad. At one point his pass conversion rate was 61%. I've never been a big fan of his. The US have called this their "golden generation" which commentator Kevin Kilbane (he does Canada coverage) completely scoffed at, and rightfully so. A nation of 340 million people, and all they produce is average, non creative players.

Pulisic is dragging Milan along btw. He's the only one who's close to consistent up front.

Panama sat in a 5-4-1 and Poch did nothing to manipulate them. Their answer was long crosses from Ream to Musah. Weah was the best player on the pitch, aggressive and positive. Turner was woefully out of position on the goal, the far post was so wide open my 50+ year old fat ass could have made that. The fact Poch played two defensive midfielders boggles my mind. 66% possession and nothing to show for it. Should have invited them out more to stretch the seams.

Pochettino needs to sort things out quickly seeing as Donald Trump is expecting/demanding that the USA win the World Cup next year.

So the yanks got beat by......... Panama?

A country less famous than its canal of the same name.

They should really give up & stick to netball & rounders.
