Whenever I've watched Celtic in Europe, Samaras performs well for them. They usually play him out wide, as he works the channels well, holds the ball up and helps back defensively too.

I doubt Pearce is thinking of targets yet. He's got a few weeks to get his back room staff sorted out, preseason plans and checking out the player profiles and Performances of players already at the club. then he will find out weaknesses and who to bring in and ship out. that will take a few weeks.
