Does anyone remember the Derby super sub Roger Davies? dribbling round the keeper and then completely missing the tap in and falling over. It was on star soccer on Sunday afternoon back in the 70s. I was only 10 but found it incredibly funny!

I would say that's the worst miss ever. Can't even blame a bobble, being under pressure from a defender or even being off balance If you're going to go for the blast, you've gotta put the ball on the line before doing it to avoid such embarrassment

Check out the full seats for the first goal and then the empty seats for the 2nd goal....... he played over 300 times for us and those folk missed it.....
