• All - you probably don't need to be told, but....
Despite the Admins' best efforts some spammers/scammers/scalpers are getting through the entry system and are, astonishingly, in possession of FA Cup tickets that they, astonishingly, don't want!

It's probably a scam, and either way it's a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, (as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) to offer or expose tickets for sale.

Please DO NOT engage with these people - please REPORT any threads/posts offering tickets for sale in case we've not caught them.
    Thanks!

Wonder how much that favour for Olympiakos cost NFFC?
I personally hate us buying players for another club. Nothing against Oly at all, I would say the same no matter who the club was. But it feels especially bad when we've had past FFP troubles. I'm sure that we have benefited from selling players too like Carvalho etc, but there was no intention this guy was ever playing for us.

Bin VAR!
We’re far better off with oly and Rio ave in the family than if we were stand alone. Wang was a waste of money all around but they will build a pipeline of players to help us going forwards.

I just hope we're drawing a line, not just under this idiot but under this type of witless signing. We all knew from the start that this was a stupid move. Fingers crossed, the signs are that we now sign players for rational reasons.

Low millions probably.

But I think there's a more than reasonable chance that EM might not be as keen to plough quite as much money into NFFC if he didn't also see some benefit going to Olympiacos as well. So while I don't like the visual of it, or the "money lost", I think that doing them favours will still have a net benefit overall.

You bought him fοr presumably 4m euros. We certainly gave you a hefty loan fee, since he was a player bought for us. Some of the other three teams you loaned him to (Seoul, Norwich, Alanyaspor) probably gave you a loan fee as well (Turkish teams invariably do), or, at the very least, covered most if not all of his wages. All in all, it didn't cost you much, if anything. This does not change the fact that whoever recommended him needs to be publicly flogged in both Piraeus and Nottingham.

I think the most surprising thing about the whole affair is that a team who previously had him on loan has signed him on a permanent!

Glad he's gone, we can pretend it never happened and move on.

No, didn't even make the bench I don't think

He only played in a few pre-season games when we had no strikers
Yeah I don't remember him ever featuring in a matchday squad but thought he might have played in pre-season

Bit of a pointless signing all-round, was probably backup for if we got relegated that season
