Troy Deeney’s Team of the week (sponsored by Eddie Yates!)

To be fair to him, I imagine the thought of writing a 200 word article is akin to asking most people to climb kilimanjaro.

Illiterate moronic thug. Sums up the BBC nowadays; journalistic standards through the floor.

Nothing to do with his team of the week but I can't stand him, one of the most arrogant footballers to ever play the game & generally he is a bellend of the highest order.

It's no surprise he's gone into being a Rent'O'Gob post retirement. He could never keep his gob shut as a player. When he was playing for Forest Green he was comparing himself to Harry Kane FFS and the way he goes on about his time at Watford you would have thought they were the Wimbledon of the modern day.
He’s done well to prove my point this week - Jesus Christ!

Arguably 2 of the best 'keeping displays you're likely to see this season on show at Stamford Bridge today.

Neither make into Troy 'Dartboard' Deeney's team of the week however...

Once he picked no Forest players after our win at Anfield he lost any credibility.

But does he pick before Sunday games anyway?

I find it hard to dislike Deeney as he gave me my most enjoyable non-Forest related football moment in my life.

"...Deeeeeeeney!"

From BBC:

"After every round of Premier League matches this season, BBC football pundit Troy Deeney will give you his team and manager of the week."

Pickford saved a penalty - but I'm think I'm right in saying that was Newcastle's last shot on target all game - and it was in the first half.

He definitely just throws it together last minute.

I don't mind Troy but I think its probably clear that he hasn't wanted every game this weekend.

3 Liverpool players after they "emphatically" beat Palace by one goal.

2 Arsenal players for beating Southampton at home.

2 Everton players for drawing nil nil with a team with no fit strikers.

He was at the NFL on Sunday and must have caught some of the Manure match but from what I saw, Evans was their best defender not Dalot.

No Brighton players when I thought there were some excellent performances by them, how the gk isn't between Sanchez, Sels or the Leicester guy as well is puzzling.

I think they should restrict him to one player per club, maybe 2 if its an outstanding performance but honestly his picks seem either lazy or based on not watching all of the matches.

It wasn't even a good penalty save. The penalty was poor and hit his legs.

Sels and Murillo in this week. Not been drinking since yesterday so hopefully not missed any other players.

Forest are magic on and off the pitch!
