I’m not shitting on what Glasner seems to have done so far, i’m just wondering how much of it is down to them buying Wharton in January and Eze and Olise finding a bit of form and and fitness in time for a late season push to mid-table. I seem to remember a similar thing happening when they brought Hodgson in last season. Probably Viera before that I don’t know.
I have to say that those 3 look top players.
I was aware of Eze & Olise. I think they will be gone in the summer - which although its Palace just pisses me off. Palace are at the level we should be at next season - yet their best players will just go to the big 6.

Wharton looks like a real find - I have seen him a few times now and he always sticks out. They bought him from Blackburn - I think. Palace have got a potential top player there.

Hodgson massively lucked out with fixtures last season

It's ridiculous how favourable the fixtures were after he took over

I did say Peer teams at home and we dont attack enough or look to play enough. I am not against pragmatism but from what I have seen from us in the prem we have lost the art of beinhg proactive in games. I beleive we should mix and match how we play dependant on the situation. We dont do that nearly well enough. You can tell from the results Nuno gets and the stats.
I disagree - we are far more on the front foot against virtually all teams at home.
We create lots of chances and have scored more goals as well. The problem has been at the other end - that is what has cost us points and seriously needs addressing in the Summer.

My gripe has been in the away games - outside of the top 6 - we have the ability to attack more. We lose by trying to defend, so we should play more attacking football - I am sure we would have picked more points up at the likes of Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth, Luton, Everton and even Spurs since Christmas with a bit more positivity

Last time he saw a decent player was when Okocha played for Bolton.
I used to go and watch Augustine „Jay Jay“ Okocha play for Paris Saint-Gernain, and he was, frankly, f***ing mint.

Somewhere (in a crate in my garage I think) I still have a „Jay Jay Okocha“ PSG scarf.

Ah your a lucky man, was that the time Ronaldinio was at the club as well?

Only been able to see him on TV and he was a joy to watch.
Funnily enough he was talking about him and that side. You would be though wouldn't you?

Yeah definitely, odd saying that Bolton had a hell of a team at that time really and looks at the state of them now.

No, Ronaldinho didn’t join until 2001, I’d moved away from Paris by then.

I think they overlapped by a few months though, but I didn’t get to see that.

That's what they get for hiring the Ginger Mourinho

I'm hoping they get promoted via playoffs tbh - don't dislike them too much as a club.

Watched 80 stuttering minutes of that f***ing city match, missing every single goal in the process. Basically just people passing the ball five yards.

I may get a chance to watch live today. Air quality has plummeted this morning (due to wildfire smoke) and my game may end up being cancelled.
