Who's this chump objecting? He claims it takes 25 minutes to walk from the Trent End to Trent bridge. It's never taken me 25 minutes in 30 years of attending games

Objector has been made to look silly. Saying the increase would be 30% when in fact this specific part of the application is an increase of roughly 15%. Sorry Mr Objector.

He's absolutely right.
It DOES take 25 mins to walk from Trent End exit T4 to the corner of Trent Bridge at full time*.

*as long as you stop somewhere for 20 minutes, e.g. to order and eat a burger or something

Yeah but if you added all the time you've spent walking that stretch it might add up to 25 mins.

Thank goodness they weren’t around in the late 1940s, when apparently over 49.000 turned up to watch Forest against Manchester United!
I think there is a typo in your post (heaven forfend!!).
I was at the >49,000 record attendance game v Man Ure... it was in the late 1960's.
There is a key difference between then and now: cars!
Without having any evidence to support my hypothesis, I reckon the vast majority of supporters in the late 1960's would not have travelled to the ground by private car. Most have travelled by other means, and parking issues would have been minimal.
My mates and I would catch a bus from The Peoples Republic of Free Gedling, into Nottingham City Centre, and then strolled down to the ground, or even caught a "football special" NCT bus from outside the Vic Centre to Trent Bridge (if we were ffeling flush with a malenky bit of the old cutter).

The homeless people of Rushcliffe will miss out on homes apparently, as there isn't enough affordable housing in this planning application.

All these homeless people we're turfing out their houses :ROFLMAO: In what world is this a development suitable for affordable housing?

How can 90% of these of fuckwits have any power to decide important socioeconomic matters?

Infuriating isn't it. How these bumbling old boys think they know better than professional architectural and engineering consultants is baffling. Clearly just in it for the lols
