The Rec, Bath. But it's not football. I think they are having similar problems expanding.Yes, I've always liked Exeter's ground.

They are. Love that place, but, to build a replacement, they'll have to move outside the city. The Rec, Bath. But it's not football. I think they are having similar problems expanding.

They have a live planning application running to redevelop the Rec.They are. Love that place, but, to build a replacement, they'll have to move outside the city.
Agree with this. The latest plans for the Rec are so much poorer than the previously rejected ones. With all this talk of a master plans, you really wouldn't plough 100m into the main stand without having planning permission for the Bridgford.
Spurs is great, they've got a cheese shop & everything
It's a fromage room, you cretin.

I know Alfreton Town took some of the seating for their stands when I played for them.I remember Leicester building a new stand at Filbert street. Don't think that was there long before they left and built the new stadium. There was a rumour that they were going to flog it to Rotherham but that was never going to work.
They might have taken the money from Rotherham but they would never have got the stand.

Interesting story. Are they going to release the drawings of the full development by the way (including the expanded Bridgford)? So far, all these updates are based on a single conversation Daniel Taylor has had with Cartledge – which is good journalism – but you would hope the club would release the official plans soon.
Daniel Taylor: "NEW: Nottingham Forest are holding talks about becoming latest PL club to introduce safe-standing areas."
I wonder if they're thinking about the entire Lower Bridgford end for home/away?
Otherwise it's also A/B block and/or the corner.
October 2024:Yawn. All this is very interesting, but when are they actually going to do something?
Presumably Richard, as soon as the impasse with the city council over new leasehold terms is finally resolved?Yawn. All this is very interesting, but when are they actually going to do something?
Cartledge seems far more forthcoming with information than old Randall. Perhaps thats part of the brief with him being chairman now..Interesting story. Even the Sheffield Clubs have nice videos on YouTube of their new stands that are unlikely to ever be builtInteresting story.
