The Rec, Bath. But it's not football. I think they are having similar problems expanding.

They are. Love that place, but, to build a replacement, they'll have to move outside the city.

The latest plans for the Rec are so much poorer than the previously rejected ones. With all this talk of a master plans, you really wouldn't plough 100m into the main stand without having planning permission for the Bridgford.
Agree with this.

Why the smokescreen stating new masterplan…. And then call it closely guarded re the Bridgford? Publish the f***er then?

Every couple of years the conservatives do the same, announcing a plan… re announcing it a year later in the hope fuckwitts haven’t noticed

I remember Leicester building a new stand at Filbert street. Don't think that was there long before they left and built the new stadium. There was a rumour that they were going to flog it to Rotherham but that was never going to work.
They might have taken the money from Rotherham but they would never have got the stand.

I know Alfreton Town took some of the seating for their stands when I played for them.

Daniel Taylor: "NEW: Nottingham Forest are holding talks about becoming latest PL club to introduce safe-standing areas."

I wonder if they're thinking about the entire Lower Bridgford end for home/away?

Otherwise it's also A/B block and/or the corner.
Interesting story. Are they going to release the drawings of the full development by the way (including the expanded Bridgford)? So far, all these updates are based on a single conversation Daniel Taylor has had with Cartledge – which is good journalism – but you would hope the club would release the official plans soon.

Yawn. All this is very interesting, but when are they actually going to do something?

Cartledge seems far more forthcoming with information than old Randall. Perhaps thats part of the brief with him being chairman now..

Even the Sheffield Clubs have nice videos on YouTube of their new stands that are unlikely to ever be built 😄

Just another rehash of previous..again.
Forest know full well the lower Bridgford is safe standing every single game. So is the PTaylor corner.

Regardless, I still applaud Forest for keeping in on an agenda. Lower Trent End… now that would bring back so many happy memories, also save money on toilets.
