I think we should knock all this moaning on the head just in case they do listen and we end up lumbered with Coors, Bud and Miller.
It would be horrendous.
Forest could well learn from American-style customer service at sporting stadia in the US, though. The catering outlets at Ford Field, for example, were brilliant; there were concession stands all over the place, serving (typically unhealthy) American standards and weak Beer, and it wasn‘t cheap, but it filled you up and that I guess is the most important thing.
Goff > Garappolobrilliant because you WEREN’T gonna see a brilliant game on the field LOL, they had to make it up for their fans

TBF I’m less worried about the choice of ale, I’d just love to be able to buy some at half time without having to miss 10 minutes of the second half.I think we should knock all this moaning on the head just in case they do listen and we end up lumbered with Coors, Bud and Miller.
I went to an ice hockey match in New York in 2019, and my mate paid $15 for a can of Budweiser.I think we should knock all this moaning on the head just in case they do listen and we end up lumbered with Coors, Bud and Miller.

It's probably $20 there now. Worst crime I've ever witnessed.

Exactly the point ive been making.I do find it odd that 90% of the issues could be solved for less than the weekly wage of just one of our new players.
It's like clubs paying their non-playing staff peanuts; to offer a living wage would be absolute drop in the ocean for any Premiere League club.
I been going to the CG for well over 60-years, and I don't recall the overall matchday atmosphere ever quite being as it has been over recent times.Don't think it's been mentioned already but how did people find it generally on Sunday? I thought it was incredible, feels like we're being spoiled almost every game these days, with the autos chase, playoffs and Sunday, every game has felt like a cup final for a while,
I'm not sure my heart can take that 18 more times at the WFCG
Looked deafening beforehand and noisy throughout most of the match, although a bit quiet about 70 mins in.Don't think it's been mentioned already but how did people find it generally on Sunday? Eh?So you remember when that famous player refused a move because he felt the fans at the buying club could be treated better?
No, me neither.
Ohh I can.I been going to the CG for well over 60-years, and I don't recall the overall matchday atmosphere ever quite being as it has been over recent times.
Have been in the Yankees Stadium in the Bronx watching NY Yankees v Boston Red Sox….75,000 crowd….food outlets and drink outlets everywhere, fill your boots and take your purchases to your seat and party!……all around were people stuffing their faces with pizzas, giant hot dogs, massive burgers, buckets of popcorn and other culinary delights and at the same time drinking copious amounts of Bud,Coors and Millers…..on rare occasions only showing an interest in what they were actually there for,a baseball match between two iconic teams….crazy!
Having a Bier in your seat is perfectly fine at German stadia though.Surely you don’t want football fans with food and drink in the stand during the game? Like cricket, you can snack though the game as there’s no big moments really to get you on your feet at a second’s notice.
That Forest are magic thing is a pretty shite chant but when it gets going around all 4 sides of the ground it really is something else.I remember some great times in the old Trent End, but I can’t ever remember all four sides of the ground rocking like they were on Sunday.
Went to see Inter v Atalanta at the San Siri, and not only could you drink beer in your seats, they sent blokes round with carry packs selling pints. A couple of tips in and there was a whole posse of them virtually camped out in our section. It was a Sunday afternoon and the locals had a great timeHaving a Bier in your seat is perfectly fine at German stadia though.
There are TV screens hanging from the back of the Main Stand roof so the (expanded) Press Box can see the Sky Sports feed. These are visble to the new back (R and Q) rows, in C block. Is it true they have TV screens now in the main stand?
