This is very true. I’d take my daughter but just can’t. I’d also take the lad round the corner who’s dad died but can’t.

There must be thousands of kids that can’t go, even if it’s not all the time.
Presumably you won’t be driving though, Duke? That’ll be the chauffeur in the Bentley🤔

So frustrating. Bringing up kids is expensive and for me now I can afford the season tickets as I’ve gotten older and a little more comfortable. I’m what Forest would be their ideal target family. They’re missing out on 3 season tickets of revenue. Not only that, my friends and extended mates want to come to the odd game when in town. Repeat that opportunity and I’d say 45k is a very achievable target, so I’m thankful it’s been delayed.

I guess the overall point is that Nottingham Forest are community and family. I value my bonding time with the kids, the experiences at Forest really are priceless

Presumably the kids weren’t born and the rest are similar to those season ticket holders who don’t go to early rounds FA Cup games.

Unless you only want 18,000 there every week with a shite atmosphere you have to accept that being successful brings more fans. It’s life.

A lot of folk started supporting us due to our success under Clough to be fair, and a lot of newer fans from further afield (particularly abroad) may have only recently had exposure to the club (given that coverage of football outside of the Premier League is quite frankly shite).

Are there some glory hunters who will bugger off as soon as we drop out of the Premier League? Sure. But there are plenty of newer fans who will have "caught the bug" and will continue to follow Forest now matter what too, so I am not going to tar all new fans with the same brush myself. We were all new fans once upon a time, after all...

Sauce salad?
Also, the 20 or so thousand that attended every week when we were wank (or was it more like 18k) weren't the same ones every week.

We do well fans wise given the size of the city and volume of teams in close proximity.

Social media following too... though not quite as many as Leicester.

I remember not that long ago you couldn’t give your season ticket away for love nor money if you were away, nobody wanted it! Now you can’t because you can only give it away to a member!

However, I’ve always said we were so badly run and a bit of success and decent marketing / community engagement could make us in to a reasonable size club. Modern day football has changed, some clubs have had a huge bounce through success or a new stadium or decently priced tickets. Or a bit of all of those things.

Hopefully we can stay where we are and genuinely grow and build the club.

I just hope we don't attract many like the couple behind me at Everton. They were most put out that they had to stand all game. They had absolutely no idea what was going on and were gobsmacked at how wildly we celebrated the goals.
They did find some of the chants very humorous though. 🙄

A lot of the shit crowds were as much down to terrible pricing as well as shit football that was on offer.

My missus has two in the oven and I'm already thinking of disowning the glory supporting buggers.

Don't stand for it mate, no child of yours is gonna be a glory supporter.

You need to push them to the strugglers like Spurs or Man united to get the proper football fan experience none of this top 6 bollocks supporting Forest.

This appears to be positive movement on ground redevelopment. For such a large quantity of property and land to be charge registered it indicates that significant capital is being being placed somewhere for works.

One thing that charge does is to effectively confirm that as of 24th December they hadn't purchased (or perhaps more specifically - hadn't fully completed on) any further properties on Colwick Road or Roseberry Avenue.

Compared to filings made in previous seasons, the only "new" addition is Standard Court ie the new Office Space / Restaurant for EM. Previous filings also listed (part of) the WFCG under leasehold NT164926 but according to the Land Registry this lease has now been marked as closed so possibly has been merged into NT473944.

In terms of the quantity of land being registered - they register their entire portfolio every time one of these is created.

Glas Trust Corporation Ltd. Just had a quick look at them? They seem to be very big players in the world of commercial finance.

Indeed……and with recent PL experience.

The GLAS team acted as Escrow Agent in The Friedkin Group’s (TFG) acquisition of Everton FC.

So they would be responsible for paying the bill for any development after funds were secured by the club? Would they provide the funds as well?

It just looks like a regular loan to me

Why would they get funding for the ground now? Unless things are further down the line that we think.

That is on the basis the tour guide was being factual with his statements. I have my doubts now
