We are on a bad run of form, I think the owners made mistakes with some of the signings in the summer and the size of squad and then we lost our most influential player (Palmer) to an ACL.

We will be fine, January can't come fast enough.

Oh but we are getting hand rails in the stands so that will be nice !

Could do with a snack machine well stocked with Werthers for the County Owd Boggers, and with vapes for the young uns.

I did mean to put the Wow emoji but I'll leave it at laughter.

Inevitable given the job he's done.

Good move for him and think if memory serves correctly he worked with the club before under Russell pass pass pass Martin as well so likely to know how it all works for their "unusual" fanbase.

I think he should stay at Notts County for this season.
He is held in high regard now after last season and doing well this season.
Still think they have a good chance of going up with Mansfield, Wrexham and Stockport.
The Wrexham thing also highlighted him and it would be another incredible story if they both went up together again.

As a Notts fan I'm happy for him and a bit gutted for us.

Btw I've watched Notts for 30 years and never known our fan base to be less bothered about you guys, I personally was a bit worried when you got promoted what it would mean for us in this city but to be honest it's had positive effects - our crowds have gone up for a lot of reasons but part of the reason for all the new families (never seen so many young people at Notts!) Is that you can't get tickets for you guys so if people want to take their kids to live football they come to us, add that to entertaining football (scored the most goals in England this season and also conceded a crazy amount) and our crowds are higher now than when we were in the top division in 91.

Thinking about the Notts feelings towards Forest, in my case, certainy the reverse is the case, too.

I really haven't thought of Notts in a while as serious rivals. Until something comes up on here, it's normally just noting their scores in the media (much the same as I do for Derby or the Stags etc) on a matchday.

In fact, that goes for pretty much all other football stuff. There seems to be so much going on in the Premier League, particularly regarding Forest or the teams round us, that it blanks out much else. Media content is the main driver, I suppose, as the attention is relentless.
