I've got little to go on but I think we'll survive.

I think we'll stay up with the lowest ever points tally, including the deduction.
I'm kinda with you bit I'm f***ing dreading it is was really up for today I took my son yesterday to help with the display preparation it really got my hopes up and I just believed we would be up for it today and ended up relived at a draw has been a real trudge of a season

I still think we *just* have enough to stay up.

Luton have fight but are distinctly lacking in quality and depth.

I still can't imagine Everton going down, but they look hopeless and may have another points deduction coming in.

We have some winnable games coming up, Luton do not. If we can get a win plus a draw or two, that might be enough.

I can't see a win, I really can't. We just don't have the quality/confidence/avbility to put the ball in the net.

Such a basic thing, but it's proving our downfall, plenty of shots and chances, but not enough goals.

And with that real problem, a watertight defence is critical. Something else we don't have.

The thing is though guys, and I've said this SO many times, but Luton fight hard and may go ahead in a lot of games and we all go "OOOOOH SHIT" but they still end up losing or drawing

We got a four point deduction and yet it still only took us one round of games to go above them again and out of the relegation zone

It's as plain as day we aren't a great side, but they aren't any better, and that's before you even get to Everton who have an upcoming points deduction and are another side who can't buy a win

We're not relegated yet, not by a long chalk

The risk is that hard working Luton may get points toward the end of the season when other clubs aren't fighting for it as much.

We can't buy a win at the moment and we're at real risk of a shock result for one of the other clubs sinking us. Only takes one.

We need to focus on ourselves. We cab avoid all this crap by just being an average PL team for a few games.

Perhaps, but given we're sides at about the same level why wouldn't the same also apply to us? Without looking we play Sheffield Utd and Burnley late on who let's be honest will both be relegated or as near as by then

We can't buy a win at the moment
Their win drought is much worse than ours! Last time we won was six league games ago against West Ham on 17th Feb - the last time Luton won was ten games ago on 30th January!

I genuinely don't understand where this "Luton are better than us" narrative has come from

We need to focus on ourselves. We cab avoid all this crap by just being an average PL team for a few games.
However this is very true

By the same token we ourselves could get a surprise result and sink them. Dare I say we’ve already achieved that more times this season, with both Coops and Nuno, than all the others around us (especially Luton)?

Agree, just don't think it's good enough that we're in that boat rather than just winning two or three hands were expected to.

Also don't trust our merry band of mercenaries to be the team that upsets the odds rather than plucky Luton or survival expert Dyche's Everton. If it comes to a battle of will then we're stuffed.

There was a spell today where I thought we looked a good side. MGW, Elanga, CHO, Reyna, aggressive fullbacks, Murillo sweeping up. I liked us a lot more than them at that point. And I like us more than the rest of the bottom 5. The pieces are there I think.
Agreed.

When Origi came off and Elanga came on we clicked.

I think Tavares off the bench and we win that. We look so much better with Aina in the side.

The most annoying thing is our final ball. Get that right and we’d be scoring for fun.

Hopefully a point or three v Fulham 👍🏼

This has been the strangest of days, i was pretty relieved at full time to see us out of the relegation zone but we can't keep going on like this.

The way i see it we are relying on other teams to keep up their remarkably shit runs (Everton, Brentford, Luton) while Burnley and Sheff Utd have finally showed that they have a pulse. Thats how i feel, that never mind us securing wins, its "christ they lost again? happy days" instead of anything that we're doing performance and result wise.

We are the exact type of team that we loved to play against last year, were you can sit deep and compact and they ain't going to do shit with the ball only go side to side and back. Hit them on the break, home or away they're the same. (Palace H, Southampton A, Leicester H last season).

Maybe, just maybe we'll be better off against Fulham and Tottenahm who will actually attack. Christ i'm clutching at straws.

Luton have only won five games all season and haven't won since January

Sorry if I'm being massively thick but I just don't understand why people think they are any better than us?
I completely get what you're saying. But we were fighting hard in games last season like Luton (without huge quality but with massive team spirit) where we kept losing and drawing. It consisted of 0 wins, 8 losses and 3 draws from mid February to mid April.

The last 6 games ended up: W3, D2, L1.

If you look at Luton's last 6 fixtures, that wouldn't be completely out of the question for them. Anything can happen.
