the law of averages says that a some point in these last 5 games we are going to get an injury time winning goal
Everton at home is certainly winnable for them, as is Fulham on the last day. Though yes they would have been hoping for something today and who knows what such a heavy defeat will do to their mentality?Blimey Ash. Arguably Luton’s most winnable game left sees them get battered 1-5 and the glass is still two thirds empty. Have a beer and rest up for tomorrow when a win could put us within touching distance of safety.
Burnley are toast with those fixtures. They've improved recently but it's too little too late for them. Why?
How many points do you expect Burnley to get from Manchester United,Newcastle and Tottenham?
6 points would definitely be enough. IMO there's a good chance 4-5 points will be enough after Luton’s result today. It would be nice if we can discover how to win away from home starting from tomorrow.I’m telling you all we are beating Everton and Sheff Utd away. That should see us reet shouldn’t it?
True, I'm fed up with relying on every bugger else.I’m taking it one game at a time - I hope the management and players are too.
Focus on our own games - we can’t affect the others.
Yes, I'm usually on the more pessimistic side when it comes to Forest but I really don't see Burnley overtaking us. They won't get much change out of the next three games at all. Some of the vacillation on here is ridiculous
At 3pm Luton were our main threat and we needed Brentford to win to help us out
Now it's Luton are gone and Burnley will overtake us
Just because Burnley beat one of the shittest teams in Premier League history doesn't mean they're getting owt from Man U, Newcastle or Spurs
Or us for that matter
If this is actually how you feel and you're not trolling the forum then you need helpBut there is a part of me, sick sadist yada yada, that wants this season to go to the wire for people to experience an actual must win at Burnley to stay up or go down. Revolting isn't it? But also enticing.

I was there when Sheffield United all but sent us down. Believe me, you don't.I want to get this season wrapped up as soon as humanly possible.

They’ve run out of magic beansSome pretty ropey defending from Luton today and even their goal was a gift.
You love to see it.

I'm trolling the evergreen must-win brigade with the prospect of an actual must-win game.If this is actually how you feel and you're not trolling the forum then you need help
It's unbelievable how bloody negative some people are.Because quite a few on here believe that Burnley and Luton will beat everyone, and that we will fail to beat anyone!
These weeks must be torture for them, they seem so miserable.
I admire your confidence that Burnley will not catch us.The Luton game gives me lots of confidence we'll stay up. They really needed to win today and not even get a draw is bad.
Burnley won't catch us, they might draw level with us on points but that GD will screw them.
For many of us the last 25 years have taught us that Forest cannot always be counted on to deliver a performance when the chips are down. It's unbelievable how bloody negative some people are.

Straight back in CaptainI admire your confidence that Burnley will not catch us.
They go to inconsistent Man U next.
Burnley suddenly grabbing a couple of wins recently, fighting for survival, against Man U, who may have either got an FA Cup final as their sole chance of getting silverware/European competition next season, or could be gutted if they lose v Coventry today.
If we need to get anything from our last game of the season to avoid us going down and them staying up I don't know if we have the minerals to get the points.
Like beating Arse last season to keep us up and deny them the title? For many of us the last 25 years have taught us that Forest cannot always be counted on to deliver a performance when the chips are down.
It isn't negativity borne out of nothing: it is based on experience.
I didn't say that there have been no occasions when we can turn up and win.Like beating Arse last season to keep us up and deny them the title?
