Even at 3-0 up you fancied Bmouth to get back into it second half, but the speed of the collapse has been incredible

I’m sure it’s a combination of factors for many people thinking that we are dead and buried, with those being:

1. Plucky Luton having more fight - despite poorer form and playing lesser teams over the last ten games.
2. Impending points deduction - despite not knowing what it is.
3. Transfers - despite the fact that we can’t go back in time.
4. A conspiracy and / or no luck with VAR - I have no counter for this one! Maybe score more?!
5. Our performance, result and tactics vs Brighton - despite positive performances in the game vs Liverpool and winning v West Ham.
6. City isn’t galvanised under Nuno - this can be changed by the fans / atmosphere. It was poor under Cooper this season anyway.
7. Everton etc cannot be dragged into it - even though they are facing another points deduction.
8. The hiring of Clattenberg - let’s all chant Alan Shearer is a wanker at the next game.
9. Pitch Invasion by EM - no idea why showing his love for the club / players is a hangable offence.
10. Our poor run of results - ignoring the impact of AFCON, VAR and the fact that we averaging a PPG over the last ten (8 of which are in the top 10).

Some of you may remember that I lost my Mum in 2016. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in early 2015, a rare bastard (only 30 cases in the world recorded), meaning there would be no immunotherapy trials or magic cures.

The first week I moved back a friend (at the time), said I had to accept she was dead ahead, it makes it easier to deal with.

Did I do that? Did I bollocks.

What my belief gave me and my Mum was positivity, that we’d get through this fighting. I’d shed my tears for months way before I arrived and didn’t shed a single tear until after she passed… admittedly afterwards I was an utter f***ing wreck, but that’s not the point.

The point is that we fought for each other every day. I watched what I loved wither and die and yet my love and passion for giving it everything never wavered.

No-one is f***ing dying here. So let’s try and think of all the adversity we’ve been through, all the times when we picked ourselves up of the floor when no-one was left to help us, and the people who no longer have a voice to support our club…and most importantly…grow a set of bollocks and get behind this team!!

So, if you have a ticket Saturday sing your heart out and let’s go out fighting. You never know your positivity might just rub off on the team and those around you.

At this point would you want Bournemouth to throw caution to the wind for the last 10 minutes to nick a winner, or would you prefer they sit back and kill the game so there isn’t a sucker punch?
