I'm still here Crewton
100% sure.
12 games last season-won 2 (West Ham and Liverpool),drew 3 (Everton,Villa and Brighton) and
lost 7( Newcastle,Tottenham,Citeh,Bournemouth,Fulham,Leicester and Wolves).
I've just had a count up and you're right it was 11 games for 6 points.
Still a hell of a lot better off so far this season.

Absolutely,FP-our away performances so far at difficult places have been very encouraging.
However our home performances has been turgid. Coops has said that so don't shoot me shoot the manager. I also think Super Coops knows we have to change our style at home and has alluded to that a few times now. So that is best positive to me is that Cooper knows the perfoamances at home werent good enough and he knows he needs to change it.

f***ing hell Emmo have a word with yourself, or go outside for a bit, or have a wank. Whatever it takes to see some positives or have some joy.

It's less than 48 hours since we beat Chelsea away.

Just hope when we inevitably lose 5 in a row at some point this season, people don't over react and get on the teams/Cooper's back.

Wanting improvement on last season is fine, but the context of where we've been up until very recently should be kept in mind.

Where are we at?

I'm mixed.

Disappointed that Cooper has gone, but also sanguine about it.

Im not disappointed with NES but also not excited either... yes, a good manager, but Wolves context is very different.

Marinakis circus has come to the fore in my mind. All the stories citing Junior as running recruitment bothers me. Yes, the family has invested, but it's still far from seeming completely strategic.

NES comments about the size of the squad are the trigger here. Does anyone expect us to trim the squad in January? That's not something they've seemed able to do since the takeover.

I hope that my sense of it being a circus can be dispelled.

Moods, eh? Who'd have 'em?

Initially I was over this season and almost resigned to the fact we were in the complete s**t and going down, it was certainly a kneejerk reaction, and it's dissipated over the past few days.

Now it's cautious optimism. I will never truly forgive the way EM and the gang have treated SC, but with reports that he went for a interview with Palace over the summer, you can somewhat understand why reports said EM 'wasn't sure he was 100% on board with the project'.

Saturday will certainly tell all.

Optimistic about the future.

The team has been in drastic need of a shake up recently and we have brought in a manager with a good CV, probably as good as we could've hoped for given the circumstances. Hopefully we get a new manager bounce on Saturday and it can kick-start the season.

I'm also sure that we will invest in the squad again in January and hopefully rid ourselves of some deadwood.
