Agreed Amorim's team selection was awful, but you were playing some really good stuff in that first period. It all got stodgy as no doubt Eddie had told the player to just shut up shop and its really hard to play and not play as it were so that allowed Man Utd to create a little something in the second half but they were just pants.

Yeah definitely, I didn't mean to take anything away from our performance in criticising Amorim. We were excellent in the first half, and when we play like that we'll beat most teams. Makes it all the more frustrating when we just don't show up in games.. we're very spursy this season.

675k a week for Rashford to join Saudi.. he’s turned it down lol

😂 that’s how f**ked they are. He can’t even get in the first team yet has the best interests of Utd at heart buy refusing to go

It's actually irritating the amount of articles about relegation that are being made for these lot.
They're really shit, even by the standards under Ten Hag but anyone that thinks they are realistically in a relegation fight, I have a bridge to sell you.

United too good to go down? Forest can't keep it up.

It's almost like we're back in the 70s this season 🤩

Good on him - I still think Rashford will prove the problem is United and not him.
In a few years there should be a book about all the internal issues with snippets from ex players such as Ronaldo, Keane, Jesse Lingard, Rashford etc obviously the lawyers will need to be involved but needs to be done

What sort of bridge?

Rashford is a part of the problem in that he is lazy & doesn't want to do the dirty work. Very few teams can carry a player like Rashford anymore.

The problem is not the player, its the club for giving them lucrative contracts that allows them to sit there earning big money.

Until clubs realise this you will always get players like that. Changing managers wont help neither as the players don't know weather they are coming or going.

He's always out on the lash in Manchester. Local rumours are that he's addicted to sleeping pills, borderline alcoholic, shagging randoms in clubs, has been sent home from training for smelling like booze and Kyle Walker has had to bail him out of huge gambling debts to the sort of Mancunians you really don't want to be in debt to.

Probably all bollocks but there's always more to the story than gets published.

But yes, the core issue is handing huge amounts of money to kids who are not equipped to deal with it, then being shocked when they go off the rails.

In fact thinking about it, this does seem to be the issue at Utd. Fergie always kept a close eye on his players and there are lots of local stories about him extracting youngsters from situations that could've become much worse over time, or getting them transfers to get out of Manchester. Since he left there has clearly been no youth safeguarding whatsoever and look at the generation that then came through - Pogba, Lingard and Rashford. Jokers, the lot of them.

Sounds like nonsense given that:

1) There'd be evidence of at least the shagging randoms.
2) He'd have his contract terminated if he turned up to training in a completely unfit state like that.
3) He's earning six figures a week so the sort of figures needed to be in difficult debt are millions, and gansters aren't lending those sums to one person.
4) He'll be earning as much if not more than Walker so Walker can't help out here.

Sleeping pills and booze might not be far off but equally that could be a chap who's suffering from depression rather than gone off the rails and needs a fresh start somewhere outside of Manchester.

Also why would Walker bail him out for so many millions? Surely he is already paying enough child maintenance out!
