**Mods please move to relative section if this doesn't belong in the general Forest threat, i'm at breaking point with how our club is being talked about in the media.
To Gary Neville, Talksport and a lesser extent Jamie Carragher.
You're on eye watering salaries to cover all things Premier League, yet you don't bother or more importantly feel the responsibility to actually read the independent commission hearing on Nottingham Forest being deducted 4 points. The outright disrespect shown to Greg (Forza Garibaldi) on the Overlap today was the final straw for me, trying to belittle him with arguments of what would Brian Clough have made of our behaviour since promotion.
The never ending sneering at our promotion signings that kept us up, the refusal to acknowledge that we had 5 players on our books after promotion while casually saying "You were allowed to lose 105million" "It was 61mil Gary" "61, ok, whatever". Its unbelievable.
Neville also bringing up Clattenberg. In fact he never shuts up about it, and yet despite being the PL town hall mayor he at least went out of his way to say "i know that you have had a couple of bad decisions but every club...."
"a COUPLE?" - Does anyone else remember the outrage at poor Wolves having a couple of bad decisions go against them in the early part of the season? I've lost count of the amount of not just bad decisions, but borderline criminal decisions that has went against our club since December. But theres no Monday Night Football deepdive into our reffing horror show compilation. Nothing. Just slag off the fact that we hired Mark Clattenberg who as far as i can see is hired to directly speak out on behalf of the club against these decisions so Nuno doesn't have to.
Then the way he attacks Greg about how could he like his club breaking the rules to stay up, that HIS Manchester United team would never do such a thing while quietly acknowledging that the Super League Coup d'etat a few years ago was a "joke" punishment and Carragher chiming in "what did people expect? Relegation or something" while laughing.
Greg, you're a good'un and thankfully i wasn't sitting in your seat during that programme because i would have went for the f**ker.
And then as if that wasn't enough Talksport LEADS with the story of Steven Reid getting a 2 match ban and fine for calling Tierney a c**t after an atrocious decision that for the most part these experts and talking heads just shrugged their shoulders and said "get on with it" "what you crying about?". It was the straw that broke the camels back after horrible decision after horrible decision for the past 2 months. 20 minutes Jim White spent trying to stir the pot about Forests backroom team behaviour is a clear indicator that respect for refs is gone.
This is the narrative about our club that is being spread by Neville, Carragher, Talksport and any amount of others that need calling out.
The message is loud and clear, our face does not fit, we are not wanted in this league.
