Nothing to do with us….but thought the sell on clause Maidenhead have is brilliant. What a fantastic lift for them.

Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth:

Max Kilman is currently having his West Ham medical ahead of his move from Wolves.

The clubs are finalising details of the deal after agreeing fee in region of £40m.

Wolves bought Kilman from non-League side Maidenhead in 2018 for around £40,000.

Maidenhead have a significant sell-on clause – thought to be between 15 per cent and 20 per cent.

That’s amazing. Will keep them going for 20 years.

(Or more likely the owner goes on ten round the world cruises!)

Wolves renegotiated the sell on clause to 10%, still massive for Maidenhead but a shame

This would still be great for my local side. They battle against the odds and teams with budgets many multiples bigger than theirs just to stay in the National League. And their stupid local council won't let them build a new ground.

A few million would definitely keep them going for a while.

Well this has come out of the blue. This post I mean, nothing to sew, as you were boys.

There should be compulsory sell on clauses when you sign players from the lower leagues on every transfer.

1 division difference 5%, 2 divisions 10%, etc etc.

I had a thought the other day actually and I think that there could potentially be a big shift in the shitty compensation that clubs suffered from losing players. These recent transfers of academy graduates for 19 year olds that have barely kicked a first team ball on massive fees surely give the smaller clubs a precedent now to legitimately pursue much higher compensation settlements.

Pepe will decide his future in the next days as he's available as free agent after excellent performances at the Euros. 41 year old defender will make decision after leaving FC Porto for free this summer.

Well as a 42 year old striker, I'm just putting it out there that I've never officially retired.

Can hold the ball up well, Very mobile (I've got 3 of them) still got my own knees and shinpads, team player (happy to lamp any CB or full back without hesitation). Will only nick kit every now and again (Terry Farndale only twatted me once, full disclosure, he got Dave Beasant to do it the second time)

Basically I'm the complete opposite to Diakhaby.

Demands are that Eddie Yates is my agent and he gets full control of social media comms

Do Forest need a left back?

I, too, never formally retired, and have kept myself fit by occasionally turning out for the over-REDACTED side of my local Sports Club.

Big fan of an early „reducer“, which will always get the fans involved.

I’m like a shortened version of Murillo with a pair of glass ankles. A RCB who should have played DM more often.

This could be some team! 🤣

Gone silent after the hectic period at the end of last month. Hopefully it picks back up as the players return tomorrow. We need majority of business done before the season starts, we don't want a repeat of last summer signing 8 in 24 hours
Ideally yep, get key business done soon. That includes sorting out if we are prepared to make a major sale. Completely changes our budget/approach.
