Steve Cooper will always be the MAN!

It’s simple. Which side of the fence are you on?

Yeah, I'll do it as well. Shouldn't have pulled the trigger, right before the window. Should have given him more time to try and turn it, as he had twice before. Shouldn't have created an environment behind the scenes where it became impossible for the guy to succeed.
Sadly, there are many amongst us who have short memories. For twenty-three years we were in the wilderness. Were it not for one man’s quite remarkable ability to galvanise a set of players hurtling towards League One prior to his arrival, and unite a fan base that had been toxic for many years, we still would be.

Don't worry we'll get to relive the Championship strugglers glory days soon enough.

You really have to got to be out of touch and into self-harming to sack a manager which has 98.3% of the fans backing at the time of sacking.

Marinakis needs to get another Murphy in asap and step away from the footballing side of things now, or else things could get nasty. Between Cooper's sacking and points deductions, he's undone a lot of the good will other people bought him with promotion.

I'm not sure we represent the views of the whole of the Forest fanbase.

(Don't disagree with the rest mind, though I'm personally ignoring all the behind the scenes stuff to focus on what's happening on the pitch for the remainder of the season - I'll be happier that way.)
True, although I doubt it will be much lower tbh. I'd definitely have money on it being over 90%

And a lot of that 10% will have been clickbaiters like Wolverine too (or his flock).

Steve was at the Wolves Wham game yesterday apparently.

Be surprised if either of those clubs went for him.

Wolves are somewhat flying under O'Neill and presumably West Ham will opt for a progressive foreign coach with a decent reputation given they've got the clout to do that now.

The one thing i'd disagree with is that from memory the fanbase was pretty united before Coops as i think we'd got to that "things can't get any worse" stage given the succession of terrible managers and awful recruitments phases.. It felt like we were just their for the club..

Don't you remember the toxicity ground label?

Love the man but I wouldn't want him back right now. It's too soon and our regime is still crackpot.
I was thinking the same thing. I never wanted him gone and, while I fervently hope for Stevie Cooper Part 2: Unfinished Business, until the goof ball ownership either moves on or enjoys a comprehensive consciousness change, I hope he stays far away from our basketcase of a club, for his own sake.

Cooper did a brilliant job to get us into the Premier League, taking the reins with us bottom of the Championship.
He also did a great job in blending the new signings into a cehesive unit that stayed in the Premier League that first season.
However, he seemed to run out of ideas in this 2nd season - a criticism levied against him when he was in charge at Swansea.
He shouldn't return, even in the unlikely circumstances that EM would ask him to.

That's because the Jacks are addicted to a type of football Cooper wouldn't play. But far from running out of ideas, he improve the outcome for them in his 2nd season - from losing in a play-off semi to losing the play-off final.

His third season was an abortion because the club didn't invest and he was put on gardening leave without a ball being kicked in anger.

We were on track for a 42 point finish until the "Cooper's job is at risk" type wanky media shit started surfacing.

Glad to see the ideas we had, that he didn't, have worked out really well for us.
