• All - as you will understand, the forum is exceptionally busy at this time. The admins and moderators simply don't have time to read every post in every thread. Could you PLEASE use the "Report" option below a post to flag any content that you feel we need to be aware of. We'll review everything reported as a priority and deal with it accordingly. Got respect for any scousers who support Liverpool why wouldnt you. Its the Tim's from Oxford or Steve from Exeter who support them I just cant be dealing with. Also anyone from Nottingham with no family connections to Liverpool are horrendous. Thats why football is fecked its become about glory supporting and not localism.
I think I have a bit more nuance about it than that - if Tim from Oxford or Steve from Exeter have lived in Liverpool previously, or are scouse descendants from a Liverpool mad family - and/or have actually travelled to watch them play live more than a couple of times, I'll cut them a bit more slack than a Sky TV/FIFA/EA FC/Online Forum plastic fan.
This might just be because I don't live in Nottingham and refuse to hand in my Forest card though.

Well I was looking forward to a nice day off (thanks, courtesy of Martin Luther), but no, it seems some people want to use the forum to throw insults at other posters?

Well, that’s not going to happen.

Behave yourselves please.

I agree with that but I would say the descendants have to be scouse themselves not a generational glory supporter. I agree deffo the nuances and I’d say a connection with the place. For example I was born in Hong Kong that’s lived in Basford for 2 years than lived in the north west basically all my life. My mums side is meadows through and through. So there is more nuance to it obviously!

Once upon a time, the only people who went to watch Forest lived within walking distance. It should have stayed at that.

I think I'm prob classed as a glory supporter as the first football match I ever watched from my house in Ballymena, County Antrim, aged 4 years old, was the 1979 European cup final. I loved the players in red. 44 years later I'm still here though and will be for life.

Most teams are represented down here in some form or other. Mainly due to people retiring here then getting their kids into their team. Obviously there's loads of United, Liverpool etc too. This week has been a nightmare at work because of all the plastic Scouse.

More should support Plymouth though for me, there's a big catchment here and although they're actually about 80 miles from me they're the closest side and decent nowadays.

Ive got a wife that’s crippled and can’t walk, she’s forever in and out of hospital and I myself have got leukaemia and I’m too always back and forth to the hospital and doctors. It’s a sad state of affairs if I’ve upset some bogger because I enjoy a jolly good laugh on here from time to time. 🙁

I won't even pretend I know what you're going through mate with you and your wife ill in that manner but if this forum is one of the things that makes you smile good for you for utilising it to give you a laugh and what I would imagine a slight "break" from your worries.

I don't speak on behalf of the mods - but if you have any issue with abuse in your direction, Omar, I would suggest hitting the 'Report' button on the offending post to bring it to their attention. Doing so will give you the option to add additional commentary to explain the problem and why you are reporting it.
I've always found the Mods to be fair in the consideration of reported posts, even when I've just been emotional and mardy and reported stuff years ago that had no right being reported.

I wouldn’t call you a glory supporter,Jase-if you’ve stuck with us during the League 1 days and
numerous Championship relegation struggles in the past 25 years then fair play to you!

I'd argue quite strongly that there's a significant difference between wilfull "abuse" and calling someone out or challenging them, which certain forum members unquestionably encourage with their comments.

Any abuse I've observed on here has been almost immediately stamped on so you have no worries on that score.

To be fair to the mods it's probably a full time job once Rzar and Otis get in their stride 😆

To be fair you know exactly what you are doing and at last you have succeeding in getting genuine users censored with your fake 'I'm so offended 'act.
Its genuinely tedious but saying that will probably make your semi a bit firmer.

It depends on how much you have been provoking them. Which you do. You want to stop people insulting you don't wind them up because you do know exactly what you are doing.

As for others who have the audacity to question you, and, dare I say, your motives - They are entitled to, just as you are entitled to post your thoughts.

If anyone sees a post they believe to be abusive, report it.
