I have never met a single Sheffield United supporter who was not an absolute f***ing trumpet.

Rhian Brewster is the guy in question.

I guess when you’ve been a 25 million flop you’ve got to get the fans on side somehow.

If it had been someone like Sharp, whilst it would still be pathetic you could at least understand the sentiment with the bloke being a lifelong fan of that club.

Long live Brice Samba!!

As for the fairer side of the City…

First leg and Peterborough away tonight… tricky opposition who are equally as capable of being very good as very poor. Any result that doesn’t involve losing has to be seen as acceptable, although I’m concerned that Moore will set up too negatively as he did at Sunderland in the first leg last season.

We finished on 96 points for a reason, I’d be wanting to get at them from the start to show exactly why the difference between us was over 20 points.

Wednesday deserve our credit for putting Derby out of the playoffs (even if it did upset my other half for a few hours!), so they can have my backing for their next 3 games.

As for Undead, they are the only club, scousers excepted, which I would like to see break the 11 point record, the dirty piggies.

Maybe we’ll let them tie the record!

I think they’ll really struggle next season.
Almost guaranteed to go down IMO.

They are a mess off the pitch still even with promotion. A shame because they would have really been in the shit had they not gone up so they have dodged a bullet.

The reality of the Prem is you have to spend to compete, the only exceptions are Brighton & Brentford who both have mathamatical genius' in charge.

Personally I think all of the promoted Championship teams this year will struggle, comments from Kompany seem to imply that Burnley are not wanting to spend much of their promotion money and are focusing on the long term health of the club (sensible approach but sounds like they've already accepted the likely possibility of fluctuating between divisions)

The ownership of Sheffield United is a mess and it's hard to imagine they'll be capable of putting together a competitive EPL outfit, then factor in they're coached by Heckingbottom who will be massively out of his depth. They'll probably kick teams to death and shithouse a couple of results early on but that style of play has a limited lifespan in the top division

Not too concerned about any of the playoff candidates, Middlesbrough are probably best equipped out of the 4 teams but would still need to spend wisely and add a fair bit of quality to put up a meaningful fight

As far as i'm concerned there's going to be a much clearer divide at the bottom of the table next season so if we manage to survive it could be absolutely huge for us. Stay up, clean out the squad, keep a solid core and make 4 or 5 well vetted quality additions that we can intergrate through a full pre season under Coops. We'll be able to play with less pressure and a bit more freedom than we've been allowed this season

how aren’t they loaded, they were cheap while under Dyches entire reign, right?

The owner borrowed against the club to fund buying the club, like the Glazers did at ManUre, so Burnley are now saddled with huge debt.

They had to use their relegation parachute payment + the majority of revenue from their mass player sales to start paying off their debts last summer. What was left over they used to assemble the squad they have now

Up until a couple of weeks back they were under a transfer embargo for not submitting their accounts on time

Yeah I think the same will happen. As you say it's a massive few weeks, I think next years Prem will be less competitive near the bottom.

Sheffield United are a filthy club, its like there's a philosophy that the managers have to be complete wankers. The players constantly argue with refs and there's always a few dirty bastards in the team. Its been the same since I can remember. I've always considered Wednesday to be the bigger club and I actively make this point when I have the misfortune of ever talking to one of their deluded, unwashed fans.

If Jeremy Kyle guest of football clubs, but with less teeth.

Could you see Wednesday not selling out a semi final at Wembley? Especially in a season where they have been successful?

Not happening.

Good luck to Wednesday.
