I guarantee your prejudice is due to the branding on his account, it just looks like a fan account set up to be an ITK with a grainy picture from 2006. But he’s worked 20 years for Sky & ESPN - now he’s freelance & publishes on a rumour site which does host complete BSers, another reason he comes off as unreliable.

I think he’s definitely still got links in the Midlands though. If he said we were signing a Brazilian player from Santos I wouldn’t pay attention, but if he said we were trying to sign a sixteen year old from Burton, it’s probably true.
