Look at those names, and those clubs, and that a Nottingham Forest player is in that company.

Well.

I'll add that it also makes prospective players also realise that they can achieve international ambitions by joining us even when we've struggled.

I never thought we would be mentioned in the same breath as America - MG and Atletico PR

Apart from being a top quality player, doesn't he just come across as a thoroughly likeable, humble bloke.

No billy big bollocks attitude- in fact quite the opposite. Seems so willing to fit in, learn and improve.

Love im to bits!
I am not being funny but you get more billy big bollocks attitudes in the Championship than you do in the Prem.

The professionalism is on such a different level to the league below. That goes across the entire division. You look at these seasoned pro's that we have got like Kouyate, Aurier - even Lingard. Who's professionalism & leadership is on another level to many players we have had in the division below.

It's why when an unprofessional cock like Nathan Jones comes along he stands out like a sore thumb & players with the same attitude last about 5 minutes.

The female agent who has taken over from Mino Raiola was saying the other day that she’s never heard so many players saying they want to play in the Premier League.

She said you always had players wanting to join certain clubs in the PL but now, they all just want to get in the league.

I think we’ve proven that to be true with some of our signings this year.

Didn’t realise he was an injury doubt today. So many in the treatment room, I’ve never known anything like it.

I think he’s been playing with an injury for the past 3 or 4 games, looked like he was limping again at the end

It does explain a lot as I think his levels have definitely dropped recently. I think the fact he's not at 100% is the only reason I can think of that Colback has been starting as he can double up on that side.

I do have a bit of sympathy though as he has very little support as we basically play nobody on the left.

I have to agree, Lodi has no one playing in front of him. Colback drifts into central midfield and MGW plays behind Wood. Awoniyi gave him an outlet, hope he's back soon.

Posted in another thread spend alot of the game looking at his movement especially when we were playing out from the back he was finding loads of space for an early ball to him and could see him getting frustrated that he wasn't receiving them or if he did it was too late and he'd been closed down I believe were very lucky to have him.

Edit I think samba would of been brilliant if he'd stayed getting us on the front foot quick with those type of balls he would regularly play or his accurate throws

He's done well given how much pressure teams put him under.

Everton in particular were clearly trying to keep the ball that side of the pitch , as far away from johnson as possible

Considering the amount of pressure we routinely must absorb, he's done a good solid job. I daresay he has a bit of English in him now, in terms of the way he plays. Do we have a buying option with Athletico?

The players probably realise that he's got nobody else out there so will have to come inside anyway.

The fact we're so unbalanced must be massively frustrating for a quality left back like Lodi.
