What a job he has done with them.

Just shows what happens when you stick with a manager who led you to the playoffs in the previous season...

They lose top players most seasons too and still keep doing well.

We will see, he may just lead them to the playoffs again and fail for a second time!

Then they might sack him and enjoy a relegation dogfight.

DOUGIE IN!

Seriously though, he's done a decent job at Palace with a struggling squad and bugger all money.

I would love to see Dougie at Forest. Tries to play football the right way, good with little or no money, brings good young/youth players through and an ex player.

However he is Palace through and through and I can't see him leaving in the near future.

He was a bit of a boo boy at Forest. He not want to come here. Good if he did though.

Yeah it never really got going for him at Forest. I remember when he signed I thought he would prove to be a valuable goal scorer but he failed miserably.

Was McDermott a physio at Reading before getting the managers job?

The manager at Southampton has done a cracking job and wasn't he a physio at Scunthorpe before becoming a manager?

Maybe we could promote our physio if he wasn't so busy with Miller and co!
