None of that advert-ridden peasant-OS rubbish.

Nice interview with a Paraguay football "expert" on Forest Focus. - I have put in quotes, because he is a football fan who is interested in Paraguayan football because he lived there for some time, and married a local. Now he follows it from the US. Some interesting insights about the reasons for Sosa's limited involvement in the Copa; and also the issues around his transfer.

This was probably mentioned earlier but he’s kinda built for a winger isn’t he?

watching him in the stands I did note how hard he worked, he closed down space very well which put the Newcastle defense under pressure. Hopefully get to see him on the pitch Saturday!

Our game changing subs made us worse I thought....

Loved the way he hit that free kick from the right touchline, that had some vicious whip on it. Think he might score a screamer or two this season. Check out the goal he scored at the Copa America if you haven't seen it, just smashes it from wide left about 18 yards out.

We went from making them uncomfortable with our workrate to bringing on technical players, we can't compete with them technically, which allowed them into the game.

I think it will work better the other way round.
Now we have seen their capabilities - we can see that we are good for the first 60/70 mins then drop off. Bringing these guys on will be a big step up in us keeping on the front foot for the full 90 mins

Totally agree, hopefully turn losses into draws and draws into wins. Wolves will be a big test for us,

Hudson-Odoi has yet to produce the form he showed last season, and I think there is going to be a hard decision to be made sooner rather than later if Callum doesn't develop his talent .
Sosa looks to me to have the potential to take the starting berth.
The competition for places is really hotting up:
Sels or Miguel?
Moriera or Williams?
Aina or Moreno?
Boly or Milenkovic?
Murillo - has no-one competing for his place!!
Sangare or Anderson or Yates?
Dominguez or Danilo (when back from injury)?
MGW of Forest and England or Jota or Ward-Prowse?
Which 2 from Elanga, Hudson-Odoi and Sosa?
Wood or Awoniyi (or Jota) or the fabled new striker?

This is what has been lacking for so many years.
One used to be able to predict the starting XI with a degree of confidence.
I would suggest that we are moving to a time when that certainty is diminishing!
