Premier league fixtures 2022/23 season (including Kickoff changes and moved matches!)

I've got everything crossed that the opening weekend we're away, and then if we're at home second weekend it gets put back to the Sunday or Monday as I'll be on holiday the first two Saturdays.

I'd expect either the West Ham or Tottenham home game to be a TV one, assuming that fixture list is correct.

If we complete a satisfactory/very good transfer window, mostly by the start of the season, then if I go with the optimistic prediction I could see us at least taking a point out of one of those two games (possibly more likely whichever was live on Sky or wherever but not necessarily), with the feelgood promotion optimism playing a part, so I'll say 4 points out of those first three home games in that scenario, with a win vs Bournemouth.

Sticking to the optimistic side re: transfers/first XI by the start of the season, I'm thinking a win at Everton might not be out of the question (could be a good sign since we did that early in both 77/78 and 94/95!), and I think first game 3pm on Saturday maybe taking a point at Newcastle is on too (like I say I'm taking the optimistic side). That'd be 4 points from the first three away games too, assuming we didn't get any at Man City.

POLITE REMINDER:

The Premier League are a bunch of copyright fascists, so please DO NOT copy and paste the whole fixture list here.

The odd fixture is fine, as is a link to the fixtures, but putting the whole thing in here is a no-no.

yeah, I know.

Stu I think there’s an echo in the new forum

Spurs home 27 Aug, away 11 March

Not the worst to play them early as Kane usually starts slow

That takes me back, I remember when the EFL didn't like anyone doing that unless they paid them money.

Man City at home first. Just a feeling.

We seem to play "big 6" teams in groups of 2 throughout the season

Spurs and City back to back in August, then Liverpool and Arsenal back to back in October, United and Chelsea back to back in Decemeber (United away on boxing day), United and Liverpool back to back in April and Chelsea and Arsenal back to back in May.

Don't see why we shouldn't target wins in the first three games. Particularly Everton, they're one of the teams we should be (realistically) trying to finish above.

Now it's hitting home isn't boys and girls. One of my best mates when I worked at Butlins is a lifelong Palace fan. That could be one hell of a crucial game

I’m absolutely delighted even though I’ll miss the first game of the season.

Back from holiday 12th August. First home game 13th. Result! 🤣

There are 2/3 tough games in a row. But that tough run-in we had last season isn't in this one.
Granted it is a different league. But we could have had a fixture pile-up of big boys altogether.

There's a trend of us playing Man U on boxing day when we've actually been in the Prem. Curious.

No start was ever going to be easy, but I don't think it's that bad ? September we really need to be trying to pick up maximum points or at least 7.

Genuinely think we will pass the sheeps worst season by the time October starts.

Fulham with this year's promoted team vs top team opening fixture.

But yeah random...
