Opposition fans' comments: Forest v Liverpool

There has never been any tragedy chants from us, WTF are they on about?

It’s like they try to rewrite history making them out to be the victim all the time. They are the Meghan Markle of football with their ‘lived experience’ being the truth rather than what has actually happened.

The irony is these were the first ones that dropped to new levels with their Munich tragedy chants in the 1970’s.
f***ing classless and always have been, no wonder everybody hates them.

Thanks for your efforts HBB.
I remember that tributes have had to be cancelled because of the scousers disrupting the minutes silence.
The scousers might have form but they have no class whatsoever

Aye... especially the minute's silence for Brian Clough.

Liverpool fans can go rot.

Hope they're enjoying their place as legacy fans with the club they love systematically impoverishing the local community so they can extend the ground on the cheap to fit more Chinese fans in.

Hope it's all worth it lads. Enjoy.

Nothing is more disrespectful to the memory of the 97 than fabricating falsehoods and weaponising the awful memories of that day to throw moral mud and create synthetic outrage online. They do it all the time, and it's rancid.

Yes I've heard it at the City Ground at points in the past from a minority, and it's abhorrent and shameful.

But it categorically didn't happen yesterday. Liverpool fans suggesting it did should be absolutely ashamed.

In fact we're the only club I can see to have done something really positive to stand against it.

Those that suggested it have no shame and never will.

The good news is that the events yesterday have been a unifying force.

Now, aside from about 60,000 people in Liverpool, the rest of Liverpool, and the rest of the country now want Liverpool not to win the title.

Although it's little consolation, it's good to know.

That's a myth. Just like they're fantastic football fans..........just ask the relatives of those who died at Heysel.........ask the bus driver of a NFFC supporters coach after we knocked them out of the European Cup - he was beaten up by a gang of them..............I can't stand them.
Very true.
Also the club that caused a five year ban for English clubs from European competitions.
The supporters who regularly gatecrash turnstiles to let in those without tickets, and have done for years.
The club who treated Forest disabled supporters accessing Anfield so disgracefully last season.
The club who reduced our allocation at Anfield this season by 500 so that they could sell them to home supporters at 60% more.
The Club who responded to the NFFC banner for the 97 at Anfield this season by failing to identify the home supporter shouting scab at the away end every time the crowd fell silent despite the stewards being told the area where he was located.
The club who had away supporters seeking tickets outside the away entrance yesterday despite it being contrary to ground rules.
The supporters who totally disregarded home disabled supporters leaving the ground yesterday after the match via the away buses section - it was horrendous.

I’m entirely with you

At least Leeds scum know they are scum; this lot think they are angels despite all the decades long list of evidence to the contrary.

Apparently singing “get a job” to thieving, jobless scum is “disgusting” but singing about Munich 58 and the queen dying is alright. Ok then lads. Scouse logic for you.

The tragedy chanting comment is f***ing Embarassing as if they don’t sing about the Munich air disaster the f***ing weird insular freaks.

I didn’t hear any tragedy chanting?

The Liverpool Echo was complaining about the Andy Carroll chants and the one about Klopp’s trainers. Do these people know what happens at a football match?

FWIW Liverpool have got a terrible ‘songbook’ and one of the least vocal supports in the PL. no comparison between them and Man Utd this week.

You didn’t hear any tragedy chanting because there wasn’t any.
As a fanbase we know where the line is and stay the right side of it.
Might be controversial but the one I had an issue with yesterday was stand up if you hate derby. Why - they’re irrelevant to us, don’t even waste your breath on them!

The ‘sh1t Andy Carroll’ chant in particular really seems to have rattled them - I think even Klopp made reference it in his post-match remarks. Must just be incompatible with that unique scouse sense of humour of theirs…

Only club my Dad despises. He got jumped outside Wembley at the League Cup final in 79 by 5 Scousers who stole his scarf, ticket, broke his nose as he was getting a cup of tea. Was on the coach that went from the Man of Iron in Stapleford.

The disgusting munich chants are standard from liverpool fans and I don't know how they dare complain about tragedy chants being offensive

I truely hate this lot more everytime we’re forced to come in contact with them.

Even the f***ing plastic scousers act like victims at every opportunity, I’m not sure there’s a decent person who’s even remotely linked to the club.

I'm not kidding, here in Ireland there are obviously flocks of Liverpool fans and its as if they came straight out of the very same factory that the Scouse have. Snidey, shameless, point scoring, whinging, grief mongering f***ers. Every single last one of them yet they're in a completely different country.

Its either some yet to be distinguished race of people or an abnormal blood type but its incredible how alike they all are.
