A 88-year-old fan was interviewed before the game and said that he's seen enough domestic titles in his life, doesn't care for them anymore, and that he will be ready to die after a European title.

This has been a crazy year. Until Mendilibar (the third manager this season) came, we were having one of our worst seasons in recent years. And then things somehow clicked, and miracles happened.

We could still end the season gaining nothing. We could lose in the final, the domestic title is a very difficult affair (we will have to win all three remaining games), we may even finish fourth and stay out of Europe next season. But nobody cares, because we can dream again, for another miracle.

Congrats @GreeksBearingGifts, you were brilliant in both legs and deserve to bask in the glory of reaching the final.

Have to say there were a number of players that did really well and they seem well coached too. My personal favourite was Rodinei, he is crazy and brilliant in equal measure.

Good luck in the final (Even though you might not like the venue too much!).

English clubs massively under performing this year in Europe. When you consider the cost of our squads it’s a bit embarrassing.
But, I’ve been told frequently, leagues outside the Premier League are just Farmers‘ Leagues?

Didn't Mendilibar win the Europa League with Sevilla last season?

And Bayern had won how many consecutive Bundesliga titles prior to this season?

I still think the EPL is incredibly competitive. That can be also bad news for our teams competing in Europe, there are fewer easy games in between European games.

The football is very different. Look at how difficult many decent players find adapting to the Premier League.

Anyway, the EPL provided the winner of one, and runner up in another one, of the three trophies last season.
