Loads of positives to take from that game, played with 10 men for 80 mins and never stopped fighting.

MGW looked incredible playing as an actual number 10, who could’ve ever guessed that.

Wood had his best game in a Forest shirt by far too.

We’ll be safe much earlier than last season.
Agree, Nuno appears to have used a formation to get a tune from MGW, I am excited to see how he evolves this squad.

We gave it a good go, but we're in real trouble.

This is my takeaway.

We’re behind last seasons points total at this stage and the bottom three have woken up - they’re all picking up points now.

We’re a desperately unlucky team with decisions and injuries.

We concede late goals, we often concede straight after scoring. Defensively we look miles off being able to keep a clean sheet.

We have a poor goalkeeper.

It’s going to need a complete turn around to keep us up. But make no doubt about it - I’d have us and Sheff Utd as heading down with Luton or Burnley joining us.

At least with Niakhate being less than premium and Boly suspended and Taiwo injured, our AfCON worries are less significant now?

Defensively is where Nuno is know for organising.

We didn't look like we were a lower league team playing in the cup today like we have in quite a few games and we didn't truly look like we had one player less. A real shame the ref ruined it to see how 11 v 11 would have faired in Nuno's first game. It's pretty crazy to think we only had one DM and we wasn't over run where in the past we would set up with 3.

I still think they’ll run out of steam. Players can’t maintain the level of effort they’re putting in for them every week and they’ll have to rely on their non-existent depth at some point.
I hope you are right because right now they are our direct competition for 4th from bottom place

Have to agree to disagree on this. Obviously Turner's made some absolute howlers, and his general hesitancy and sluggishness is problematic, but no reasonable person can blame him for any of those goals today.
The first goal he's lobbed by a header when standing a yard off his line. It's pretty much straight over his head. Can't see how that's not saveable.

This is what worries me. It's always the teams deemed as 'unlucky' who end up at the wrong end of the table.

The teams who are 'lucky' usually end up at the other end.
Exactly - we look like “Sorry Forest” at the moment.

I just hope Nuno can maybe use the horrendous decisions against us to galvanise in the same way Everton have been fired up.

Oh yeah, I f***ing hate Bournemouth too - they needed everything on their side today to win and they’re the form team.

I was impressed with how we applied ourselves. Particularly given the circumstances.

Our defending obviously is still shambolic though.

Turner is a poor goalkeeper for a PL team but he isn’t the reason we lost today.

I’d love a CB who can dominate the box a bit better than our current CBs - we look so vulnerable to crosses
