wood with a goal and assist and he looks so much better when you actually get players round him. MGW in his best position as well. I think I’ve seen more from the players than I’ve seen all season. Problem is centre halves and keeper. It’s chicken and egg here. Are they hesitant because we have a poor keeper or just shite.

However we can’t ignore the red card because it was truly a travesty. We praised cooper for a 2-0 loss against spurs when they have 10 men for 20 minutes. We had 10 men for nearly 70 minutes.

Phew, when you are having a bad run it all goes against you, but there are signs of a decent team so don’t forget that.
I am impressed with CHO, he has the ball at his feet and his head is looking for the pass, mostly no one around on his wavelength, he will come good.
MGW has stopped a lot of the flicks, also under SC, so put in a star performance today, his work rate is excellent.
I can go on but the evidence of a really decent side is there, you will see it come February when we string a few wins together.
Elanga is doing what he should and we should be glad we have him, he will improve, just needs to look up at the right moment.
The sending off today confused me, I thought the ref showed a straight red, I hope he did then showed the yellow which would make it it even stranger, freaking messy no matter what.

Have a really cool Christmas, try and behave for once, as the Germans say, “ Lass die Sau raus”
So let the Pig out which is a weird statement, but the Schnitzel Fressers enjoy such stuff.

Never a freaking sending off though

Need to play CHO consistently to get those wavelengths aligned. Hopefully he can stay fit because I feel he’ll be massive for our survival.

Not to speak about the C word, but today does make you wonder what he thought the point of buying Wood was if he wasn't going to get players around him and balls into him.

I would still like another striker in the window, but it's less of a panic if Nuno continues to build on this style of play.

Missed this at half time from the official Instagram account.

Saw some fight, created chances and deserved more than we got. We're going to turn it around, fellow trees.

Ref has had a shocker and f**ked us.

Bottom 3 next week. Form has gone out the window and the players can’t defend. Niakhate is a liability atm apart from his throwins. Right now Id stick McKenna in. The next two games we’ll get f**ked cuz you know we’re playing 2 teams out of form and we’re gonna be the team to let em both win and score plenty.
Sell half the team in January and bring in a few quality players rather than the dross we’ve brought in recently.
Devastating loss today BUT it’s on the ref. An absolute cnut

Sell half the team?

You know how difficult it is to sell players you don't want?

I get it that you wouldn't expect any team to get a result playing with 10 men for three quarters of the game but never at any stage did I feel we could hold onto our lead or the draw. Been the same pretty much the same all season.

Shambles of a refereeing performance. Absolute disgrace. Wouldn't actually be surprised if he came out as being bought.

So a straight red can be looked at by VAR and possibly overturned, but a 2nd yellow leading to the same match changing outcome can't?

Game's gone.

Yeah I truly don’t understand the reasoning behind this, regardless of the “slippery slope” we could slide down on.

Completely cheated out of that, and I mean that word with it's full force. Rob Jones completely shat over the integrity of that game and I think he knows he's in big, big trouble. So angry.

I hate Bournemouth so, so much, they will know full well they were handed that three points on a plate. I can't wait until they go down and their supporters go back to supporting United and Liverpool.

The Premier League is finished, I'm not even sure I'll miss it that much.

Not a chance with the first one. The second a truly world class keeper might just have pulled it off, but the power and placement of the header were top drawer
Disagree. Turner barely got off the ground for the first, it wasn't particularly high and was in the middle of the goal. And the second looked like it was top corner but that's only because Turner pushed it there. As I say, I think a better keeper saves them, not that they were horrendous mistakes or anything.

Thought we looked better.

Btw, I love the way CHO runs. He’s like a terrier, his strides are strong.

Yeah, there were some definite positives today. Wood played well, probably his best performance since he joined. Elanga is a weapon, albeit a tad inconsistent. MGW was way more involved and I liked what I saw from him. CHO looked good after coming on. Both Neco and Toff performed well. Yates had a strong game. Mangala deserved the yank, I thought. That one where he got striped of the ball after holding on to it for about 5 seconds was real poor. Origi even looked decent before getting the yank---though his poor first touch in one instance was not good. Murrillo and Niakhate were subpar. I have been disappointed in Naikhate so far---I was expecting more from him after what I saw in the Bundesliga.

It's shite we lost but i'm so fecking proud of the players.
We were given a bad hand today with that ref but you cannot fault the players.
Yes Turner could have done better and yes some of our players could have done better, especially defenders.
We just witnessed a team who played for over 60 minutes with 10 men.
We are in deep shit but now is the time for us all to get behind the team and manager.

Hope you all have a good time over Christmas.

No chance, nothing will happen about it.

Burnley and Luton won, we could well be f**ked
Luton will not be one of the relegated teams.
I got some pelters when I said this a little while back.
They have just been playing better since they signed Barkley and Townsend.
Now they have started translating that into wins or potential wins

Loads of positives to take from that game, played with 10 men for 80 mins and never stopped fighting.

MGW looked incredible playing as an actual number 10, who could’ve ever guessed that.

Wood had his best game in a Forest shirt by far too.

We’ll be safe much earlier than last season.

Have to agree to disagree on this. Obviously Turner's made some absolute howlers, and his general hesitancy and sluggishness is problematic, but no reasonable person can blame him for any of those goals today.

I still think they’ll run out of steam. Players can’t maintain the level of effort they’re putting in for them every week and they’ll have to rely on their non-existent depth at some point.
