Odysseas Vlachodimos (and Pliers)

Samba's Water Bottle

First Team Squad
According to O' Jogo, you have agreed terms with Vlachodimos, and Benfica ask for only one million more than your bid; if this is so, I imagine you'll sign him, one million is basically peanuts for Premier transfer negotiations.
From what you've seen, is he good enough for the PL? What would you say are his strengths/weaknesses?

Good reflexes, lean body, excellent positioning, not afraid to step out of his box, good in clearing the ball in the air. I can't say I remeber about his distribution (as I've mostly seen him in games of the national team)

Lazy journalism; we're not looking for a no. 1 (only, perhaps, a second / third choice keeper).

Presumably this chap thinks he’s coming here as first choice? The rumoured fee (5m euros up front, plus 5m in add ons) makes it hard to tell though.

Long Rodney

Youth Team
From what I've read/seen, he has fantastic reflexes but can be error-prone and is poor with the ball at his feet.

Monkman

Grenville Morris
GreeksBearingGifts (I think it was) seemed to think he'd become our number one, which surprised me. I reckon we'll stick with Turner until he has a bad game or two, then Vlach gets his chance.

What I said was that he'd breathe heavily on Turner's back in the race for no. 1. I agree that you'll stick with Turner, but it's not a case of having an indisputable no. 1 and some random keeper on the bench. Turner will have to work hard to maintain his no. 1 spot.
