The decisions are baffling.
But they aren't.

Nuno is dealing with exactly the same problems Cooper was struggling to deal with - On the pitch, on the training ground, off the pitch and off the training ground.

He started to try to deal with them in a different way but has gradually worked backwards to trying to cope in a similar way to Cooper.

It's almost as if it wasn't the manager that was at fault for the poor results.

Surely all of those that wanted Coops to stay must be delighted?

Just need him to take the mask off ...

He just makes baffling decisions like cooper. He’s exactly the same as cooper it’s like the continuation candidate. It’s like watching cooper. This change in manager hasnt changed our style at all.

If Nuno fell in a barrel of tits he'd come out sucking his thumb at the moment.

Nearly every game is seeing a baffling decision being made; he constantly tries to be too clever. Today's subs were the type to make against Blackpool, where results didn't really matter, not in the most important game of the season.

Frustrating. Needs to pull out some real magic very soon, starting with Palace.

Get him out, aside from the new manager bounce, he's been f***ing dreadful.

Marinakis won't, but I think apologising to Steve and asking him to return would actually spark a revival in the club to stay in the league. I think more than anything, we feel very fragmented as a club and he's still got enough currency with our fans for them to rally behind him but also, importantly he knows the squad. It feels like a hail mary, but there's only one way things are going.

That said, it's very unlikely and even if it isn't Steve, at this point, we might as well give whoever is going to be next a head start on next season. I'm fed up with Nunoball, the fact we still can't defend a f***ing set piece is criminal.

Disagree, on the rare occasions we've played front foot attacking football we've been a match for teams. Sitting deep is what's constantly killing us, get the whole team 10 yards up the pitch and stop the vast space we're leaving in the middle

I feel like this is the sort of thing Marinakis rants at the NFFC leadership team when we lose. Then they talk him down.

Seems to be a disconnect between the fans and Nuno.
Does not help when we have 1 win in 12, barely scrapped past lower league teams in the cup and we can now point to multiple managerial mistakes in games.

I think his only saving grace is the poor ref decisions we have had against us otherwise EM would be very twitchy.
The fans kept Cooper in, Nuno does not have that support, Nuno will be dismissed by the Big Man without second thought you’d imagine.
It's not f***ing 1 win in 12!!!

I don't think that even Marinakis could eat the size of humble pie required to bring Coops back lol.

But he'd need to do more than that, he'd need to create a good recruitment structure above Coops like Murphs had, Coops is no recruiter. And that would mean no involvement from his son or any of his mates.

Marinakis is too weak to do any of that. All he knows is the mercenary root, and we'll likely see a manager change with some big-name designer foreign manager com in if Nuno carries on dropping points.

Mendes playing our owner like a fiddle again. His mate as manager and pointless signings like Reyna
Marinakis is a ****king fanny for getting back in bed with Mendes. He's like a loose Shirebrook slag who keeps going back to a skank dealer, just coz he drives a flash Astra. I want Marinakis' money here, but I've absolutely 0 respect for him as a leader or organizational head. Kicking TVs shows no organizational or inspirational qualities. I'd follow my step-niece into battle before him lol.

Sack Nuno: he isn’t interested.
I genuinely question whether he is tbh.

I don't agree with sacking him. I don't think i've seen a manager get so unlucky in many years because we are creating clear cut chances, we are defending well in open play for the most part, but due to players not taking their chances and complete individual cock ups it does not look good in whatever way i try to spin it. Top those off with inexcusable ref decisions and comedy injury after injury and its just a bowl of really shite soup.

However, on set pieces alone i would not shed a tear if he got the bullet. He decided to use his men and not the badly needed and recruited set piece coach that the Big Man demanded. This, more than refs, more than injuries..is why we are where we are and why we'll end up in the Championship next season unless Nuno gets a divine inspirational moment were he realises that maybe, just f***ing maybe, a set piece coach might work better for both attacking and defensive set pieces.

And i'll make just one more comment on this, if he is sacked i won't flinch. After Coops i swore allegiance to the Big Man and his ambition.

But my prediction is that should Nuno get the bullet, the first man that the Big Man will call will be.......Steve Cooper.

Put your money on it...
