Best manager in the league, nobody else could do the job he is currently.
We’re extremely lucky to have him.
We’re extremely lucky to have him.
He's a lovely man. Very modest and you can see how he keeps all the players grounded and mentally prepared.Anyone else find themselves uncontrollably smiling when watching his interviews?
Superstitions are not real. That accursed manager of the month for dec has yet to be annouced , they can give it to slot or howe, please god not nuno.
Fine and you're right but I'll still be furious if they find a way to give Nuno a MoM award before Liverpool.Superstitions are not real.
real or not , bad results followed more often than not when a forest manager got it. Nuno got it for oct , swiftly followed by 3 defeats in 4 games. Thankfully , forest bounce back well after that.Superstitions are not real.
Tell that to my crusty old lucky pants.Superstitions are not real.
No they arentreal or not , bad results followed more often than not when a forest manager got it. Nuno got it for oct , swiftly followed by 3 defeats in 4 games. Thankfully , forest bounce back well after that.
I would rather nuno get manager of the year a few months from now.
like i said , curse or not , i would rather nuno save it for manager of the year. We were poor for all 3 matches. other than arsenal , both newcastle and city struggled in their next few games after their win against forestNo they arent
Law of averages dictate managers often lose after getting manager of the month simply due to the unlikelihood of winning so many games & teams showing you more respect
The losses were against Arsenal, Man City & Newcastle. Controversial opinion I know but it may be due to who we are playing and not some farcical curse
Those three sides were also at their best against us in those three matches - City aside, who were usually at that level but are weird right now, Arsenal and Newcastle fans saying that was their best performance. Even Eddie Howe called it at the time.like i said , curse or not , i would rather nuno save it for manager of the year. We were poor for all 3 matches. other than arsenal , both newcastle and city struggled in their next few games after their win against forest
Absolutely. The difference compared with last season is huge. With the uncertainties around the points deduction and the number of outrageous refereeing/VAR decisions against us he looked utterly careworn and almost a beaten man as he made those “Why, Colin? Why?” remarks. The contrast this season is striking - he looks relaxed, constantly smiling and suppressing a chuckle. He and his various assistants are doing an outstanding job. It’s a shame the Manager of the Year award is actually the Manager of the Team that Wins the League award as unless we implode and plummet to the humiliating depths of mid-table his will have been the outstanding managerial achievement of the season.Anyone else find themselves uncontrollably smiling when watching his interviews?
As always, I'd take the achievement over the award. Top, top manager, and a really likeable man. We are very lucky.Absolutely. The difference compared with last season is huge. As would I, but in a properly ordered world the scale of the achievement, even when it is falling short of winning the title, would be recognised. As always, I'd take the achievement over the award. Top, top manager, and a really likeable man. We are very lucky.
You are of course correct, but I think the world fell out of order (even more!) some time back.As would I, but in a properly ordered world the scale of the achievement, even when it is falling short of winning the title, would be recognised.
I am happy to provide bottles of my salty piss, after all, who could tell the difference between that and Madri or Stella? If this season continues in a positive way - we need to do everything possible to ensure the bars at The City Ground sell Madri and Stella next season. This HAS to be priority!
Champions League anthem being played whilst finishing a bottle of pissy Carling and then water dripping on your head during a last minute slash in The Main Stand before the game starts...I am happy to provide bottles of my salty piss, after all, who could tell the difference between that and Madri or Stella?
You're correct - at least when it comes to Rui Pedro Silva, who I assume is his most trusted Assistant, as it was he who took charge when Nuno had his touchline ban.His support staff are key to his success, one man can't do it all, I think they weren't with him at Spurs.
Similarities to Clough and Taylor. You're correct - at least when it comes to Rui Pedro Silva, who I assume is his most trusted Assistant, as it was he who took charge when Nuno had his touchline ban.
When Nuno went to Spurs, Rui instead chose to pursue his ambition to be a manager in his own right, taking the top job at Portugese side F.C. Famalicão - obviously that didn't go according to plan and he was sacked after just 26 games, of which he won less than a third. Thankfully for us, that meant he was back in the dream team.
