Solid enough start for most of the game. That was a championship standard attack but he did look comfortably a cut above for most the game. Good threat at set pieces but also he should have buried that one he shinned.

I saw a lot I liked but he needs a few more games mistake free before I join the clamour of the 2nd coming of Felipe. It was his sliced clearance that led directly to their best chance, then he fell down with cramp with the ball in play which could have been a disaster if Southampton were more switched on. The ref bailed us out there by stopping play. Go down holding your face/head or limp out the box so you're not playing everyone on 6 yards from goal.

Much bigger tests in store over the next couple of weeks but he looks equipped to deal with it. Really looking forward to seeing him against better sides.

He was literally head and shoulders above Murillo yesterday. Murillo was a bit erratic and made quite a few rash errors again, whereas Milenkovic was coolness personified for the whole game, got every decision spot on.

This sounds a belter of a signing. Sometimes you need someone with just the basics and be hard, no tippy happy bollox, put your boot and head where others dont want to, bully people into row Z and scare people. Let others do the fancy stuff. Sounds great to me.

Oh I like this chap.

Just what we need at the back - calm, assured, quick, big bastard.. exactly the kind of defender you hate in the opposition 🙂

I like a defender, and I like this lad. He’s quickly becoming a firm favourite.

No fuss centre half who heads everything away and is fairly composed on the ball.

Will go unnoticed most of the time but the sort of player that wins you the game because you only need to score 1 goal rather than 2 half the time.

When he came on the way he handles Isak (who has real quality) was class he just moved Isak off the ball - just a clever footballer, knows when to step in when to back off.

He screams future captain to me - Murillo will benefit massively from playing alongside this guy.

The classic „Sweeper“/„Stopper“ combo always works best, and he is the „Stopper“ here.

This lad is absolute top quality. Effortless defending. Seems to completely negate the attacking threat, perfect positioning to recover possession / break down attacks.

Glad somebody else noticed that - was like an adult just guiding a young kid out of the way. Think even Isak wondered what had just happened.

The former are predominantly Muslim, while the latter are predominantly Orthodox Christians.

Random and perhaps surprising stat for you all,

Milenkovic played the joint 5th highest number of professional games in club football in 23-24 with 74 games, behind only Alvarez (84), Foden (77), Diaz (77) and Patricio (76),
