I'd be on board with that. Clough would be an upgrade on Paterson- still need a devastating physical winger/ forward to replace Burke imo. Sako at Palace? Not featured this season.

McManaman would be great, I can't see it happening but would love to be proved wrong.
Rhodes wages put him out of the reach of any Championship club who aren't in receipt of parachute payments, and I'd have thought he'd want to try and break back into the Middlesbrough team anyway (he did join them with the intention of playing Premier League football, after all).
Newcastle only want to let Adam Armstrong go out on loan. Developing Armstrong for Newcastle ahead of giving game time to Tyler Walker is something I am not keen on, it'd be Chuba Akpom all over again.

Still reckon we'd need a left winger, unless that new chap from Napoli will share that role with Osborn... would've been good if we had gone for Sako and McManaman although we've seen in the past Sako demand huge wages.
Also agree about Adam Armstrong and if he's the big reinvestment gesture I'd suggest Fawaz keep well clear of Nottingham for the foreseeable future.

Yeah I'm hopeful he's the additional left winger I referred to a couple of posts ago. Still like to see a top right winger and striker come in.

Carayol would be terrible, had a serious knee injury, not performed for past 2 years or more, doesn't score, doesn't create and looks bone idle every time I see him.
