Is the away one supposed to look like a slice of blue cheese?

Not usually one for hanging my nose over other team's kits but this one, wow

Never heard that phrase but i assume you like it.

It's literally just black with silver writing though - i don't get what's good about it?

The MLS teams have got some lovely Adidas kits this year.

I presume that there is some sort of deal with the MLS whereby one manufacturer supplies the entire league?

AIK have literally just released this. Depicting a number of historical things from Stockholm. They had a navy blue and gold one last year which was one of the nicest shirts I've ever seen

Amazing kit.

Nike make some absolute beauties sometimes.

Love that. Really liked the blackout they did not long back (the most faked football shirt in history apparently) as well. Like the reasoning behind it too.

Might have to get one.

My local side also have an all-Black third kit this season, with silver badge and logos, but the background has faint outlines of prominent Stuttgart landmarks like the Stadtoper, the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the Cannstatter Wasen, the Fernsehturm and the Zacke.

I think I posted it earlier in this very thread!

I think most of these kits indicate that proper football kits have been exhausted and any old excuse is being used to put any old rubbish on kits these days. They only use black kits because for many years refs wore that colour and it's use was forbidden.

I mean, the iron work on Trent Bridge! What next?

I've been close to pulling the trigger on one of their Dennis the Menace numbers a couple of times.

Oh and this is the black one:

No doubt, the VfB put out a couple of bangers this season.

But it's just a black t shirt. It's the most non-descript thing possible.

I'm fine with it, but it's surely the definition of a blank canvas.
Probably because there's been such a proliferation of ridiculous and fussy kits over recent years. This one is just one I like.

So many kits just try to be too clever.

As posted above, this season, my local side went a bit more simplistic; the red-and-black striped number is a replica of the German Cup winning kit from 1997, and the black one has subtle pictures of famous local landmarks.

Both are produced by kit supplier JAKO, a local Baden-Württemberg company, who know their audience.

It is fair to say, both have been amongst the most popular efforts from the VfB for many recent seasons, and have sold like the proverbial hot cakes.

Good news! Today you can preorder the Milan 4th kit. A mere €150 gets you first dibs.

I’d post a picture but they haven’t release one yet. Any takers?
