Thought he was rock solid tonight. Dominant from Right Back even when Bournemouth doubled up on him and links so well with Burke.
And to me, that tackle was a bit of a wake up call to his team - Bournemouth had been prettily passing it around and it didn't half give their confidence a knock when he thundered into that irritating winger!

Thought he was excellent and everyone around me last night agreed he was MOTM. Another one of SP's odd decisions was to bring in Todd Kane and drop Lichaj, never got my head around it. Ever since DF came in he must of told him to be more agressive and dominate players and he is doing that. The best part about his game was his ability to defend the back post, he hardly ever gets done.

Ditto, held my breath for 2 minutes while the ref decided which colour to pull out. That could have killed it stone dead. Im Lichaj biggest fan & hes revved up under Freedman. Never thought Id hear myself asking a player to tone down his commitment.
Thing is, we were getting pummelled by Bournemouth's passing game, and Eric smashing into that winger seemed to give the whole team a bit of a lift, as such meaty challenges sometimes do...
