Yeah, for me, he was at times all over the place, but you know what, he’s got his head down, worked hard, and he has improved significantly, to the extent that he does now look a 17m Premier League player.

And that is no bad thing.

I don't think the comment I got called out on was wrong, I was getting bored of him being done by simple balls in behind, you can't rewrite history to suits, he was struggling.

But like you say, because he's worked hard on the defensive side of his game those simple mistakes aren't happening anymore. I'll be honest, I thought anyone who can make it to 20 years old and still not do the defensive basics probably wasn't going to hand a good career as a defender, so thought a move further forwards might help him, but happy to be wrong on that front as he's been magnificent at full back for the best part of six months now, great to see.

Neco played RB for them in the 1-0 match which we won towards the end of that season. Joe Bryan was at left back.

Some credit must got to Nuno, Neco was absolutely hopeless in a back 4 under Cooper, to the extent he could only ever play in a back 5. Could never fault his effort., but he's improved massively defensively this season.

To be fair he was playing well at the back end of last season until Johnson broke his face.

Mangala didn't come good, he was good throughout, posters just misjudged him early on.

Wood came good but did so between Christmas and end of season. Williams was starting to come good by end of season too.

Sangare is, if anything, getting worse. I'm happy to be patient and I hope he comes good but the signs aren't quite there as they had been for other players.
