There are plenty of games more embarrassing than today given the context.
I can think of half a dozen during Megson's reign for a start.

Immediately after a game is not the time to put it in to context. Today was awful. Our defending was awful. Those players should hang their heads in shame. Derby took their chances, plus some cheating from Bamford. Certainly not embarrassing in terms of most possession etc. I have witnessed far worse games than today.

What was embarrassing was the total lack of passion from players, one tame shot on target and resorting to Derbys kick them tactics. All this with over 55% of the possession.

Not the worst but certainly up there. The biggest defeat to our rivals in over 100 years is not gonna be forgotton for a long long time.

As I said in the matchday thread, I half expected it, so dont feel the same misery as at Sheff Utd in the Cup.
We were abysmal today though and its just not good enough. There were players with Prem experience, bags of Championship experience and a couple of Internationals on that pitch today for us. I could accept it if we were fielding a bag of shit team and relegation contenders, but we aren't.

Truly embarrassing for our players and manager, the fans were great.

Losing to Derby's 10 men at home was worse than that today. Away from home shit happens, but at home to your local rival who are down to 10 and losing, from being 1-0 up too? That should be impossible.

Any away game shit can happen and do from time to time, we sang our hearts out for most with "forest boys making all the noise" was great, really got going..

Its not the most embarrassing result but it will feel like it for all of today just for who we played..
