I we sell him, I give upI'm hearing via Big Dave in the village that he's been told a big bid is incoming for MGW.
The salary involved is enormous!
Anyone else hearing the same rumours?
Big Dave has been reliable in the past, but occasionally not so.
That was my response to Big dave.I we sell him, I give up
Highlights the need for a Reyna type player that can fill that role if needed as without him we have no cutting edge at allMassive influence on the game when he came on.
Playing the way we do under Nuno then it's imperative he's in the team to break the lines otherwise we just end up playing neat football on the halfway line.
The club would need to confirm a break via an x-Ray or MRI scan. Even with our ‘private’ resources, there wouldn’t have been any way to obtain an x-Ray or scan between the end of the game and now.Reading some early morning FB posts that MGW has broken his ankle?
Really hope that 120 doesn't come back to bite us in the arse now.
Ridiculous decision to start him.
Bring him on if we're struggling perhaps- but starting & playing him for 120 minutes against a physical team given our position is something I can't get my head round.
Yep I am a bit of a grumpy bastard lately to be fair .Looking at the bench I'm not sure we had any other option, and we do now apparently have competition for his position. (And if Origi wasn't fit I'd have started him up front last night fwiw)
Fingers crossed he's fine - hopefully it was just his body doing something weird; best case scenario is cramp or muscle spasm with no lasting damage.
We don't get much luck on the injury front mind...
Best hope is that we don't need to use Reyna in that role... be surprised but at least we'll get a good look in his 'best position' if so.Yep I am a bit of a grumpy bastard lately to be fair .
Convincing win over the Geordies with a Reyna master class should cheer us all up
I just spoke to someone at work who went last night, said he just got a bit of knock and looked a bit a like a dead leg but he ran it off after a few minutes. Hopefully, that's all it is.The commentators were talking about possibly being a thigh issue. Broken ankle is likely made up rubbish.

Exactly this. It’s a bit of worry that he’ll be fully fit for Saturday, but unless he slipped on the soap in the changing rooms after the match there’s zero chance he has a broken ankle.I just spoke to someone at work who went last night, said he just got a bit of knock and looked a bit a like a dead leg but he ran it off after a few minutes.
