We're in such a weird state as we look at a player's stats and all have a go at wondering if they're good enough - but the best players have the best stats and they're the expensive and established one's we're struggling to land, when at this stage in our development our transfer guys need to/should be/are looking at player stats and allying it with other info and seeing indications that they can become the outstanding players we're looking for in our system (ahem) ... so at present, for me, while stats are an element unless they show the guy's a stinker of a player they are but one part of the puzzle

Everyone seems to want us to Find hidden gems with lots of potential but also want them to be the finished articles playing at top club.

Think he played 21 in total, though wonder if low numbers are because they have 19yr old sensation António Silva, who TM have down as worth 45 million. Wonder if it was more the case that they didn't fancy using an 18yr old alongside a 22yr old? Guessing.
