Michail Gregory Antonio

Mr. Blonde

TWO-NIL! 👀
Leg fracture apparently.

Assuming it's true and looks likely not just plausible then he's out for all of this season and the start of next season minimum.

He's 34 already, long way back to full fitness.
Seems logical this might end his career. He might not even want to return after his rehab.
And that's not to mention the mental impact of such an horrific accident

Wish Michail all the very best and I do hope to see him back playing

He's a very lucky boy and I'm reminded of another 34 year old sportsman who had a serious car accident and came out of it relatively unscathed.

Errol Spence Jnr. How he survived this crash without any fractures is quite incredible.

And he never recovered from that either

People need to stop speculating, I've dealt and seen more smashed up cars following crashes than probably most people on here, that car isn't that bad.

Sports cars are notorious for crumbling on impact, I've dealt with sports cars going 30mph and you'd think they were going 100mph plus when they crashed, he was also cut out the car. Now sports cars have very little room inside them, so they probably had to cut half the dashboard out to free his legs.

Hopefully he's fine in the long run though.

I see that Michail Antonio has just been discharged from hospital 3 weeks after his car accident. He has a difficult few months ahead and I really hope that he makes a full recovery and is able to play again. Behind his slightly flash persona is a nice guy who worked his way up through the leagues and was very unlucky to only sit on the bench for England and not receive a cap.
