Huh? We went down in 92/3 with Pearce, Clough and Keane.

Getting relegated doesn't mean all of your players are shit, just too many of them.
No but I do think sometimes merely half-decent players stand out on shit teams just because of what they’re surrounded with. I’d put Ross Barkley in this bracket as well to be honest.

Why do South Yorkshire police have to draft in additional resources from Northumbria police for our games?

Old fashioned police walk back to the station after the match. Not so many blunts fans wanting to "have a go" unlike in previous years.

Kudos to the Forest boys that got seats in the upper tier. Not so good to the two Forest lads wanting it out at half-time.
As we know from history, S Yorks police have a good record when it comes to policing big football matches .....

Yep. He's got pretty good stats for a striker playing in the shitest team in the division with only a 3rd of a season to gel and yesterday he looked like danger every time he touched the ball.
Of course we are all looking at him like an ex that jilted us and then shagged half the town for laughs but I guarantee that if we bought him the first time he scored everyone would be singing 'He's one of our own' like he'd never wandered.

I’d take Brereton next season all day long, especially if it’s a loan.

He’d essentially be replacing Origi, and at half the price too. I know who I would back to score more goals over a season and it ain’t fat Div

I take your point completely but to we could potentially finish on less points this season than last even with our 4 points back. I just think that’s horrendous to be honest. Considering that teams should be getting more points from the bottom 3 because of how poor they’ve been. This season makes us look better than we are. Any other season we’d be bottom 3 right now. Of course I’ll take it but something needs to change.
With our points back, if we are to look at last season we'd be one point from safety with two games to go. We'd be on 33 with Leicester getting relegated on 34.

Delighted we won this but we were very, very lucky.
Once we switched to the back 3 the Blunts could not lay a glove on us, that has to be the formation for the Chelsea game.

Also, CHO is awesome, so refreshing after watching Dennis last season.

Sheffield United boss hints at VAR bias as Nottingham Forest row prompts 'easy decision'

Not a foul for me. Had Brereton not slammed on the brakes without indicating Murillo wouldn't have touched him. It wasn't a push in the back as far as I'm concerned Murillo automatically threw his arms up to cushion the collision. If he hadn't done that there would have been a nasty clash of heads.
Brereton played for it, everybody knows it, like he played for the penalty, ok montiel was rash but both were massively exaggerated.

Maybe fat head wilder should concentrate on why one of his tallest, athletic players didn’t concentrate on his defensive responsibilities when the first ball was played in and decided to try and hoodwink the officials instead.

So Brereton dives and wins a penalty, then dives again for our goal but doesn't win the free-kick, and somehow it's "Forest get VAR decisions this time".

Righto. I'm glad that we've deduced that for us to be benefitting from things we're just having 1 decision go against us rather than 3. Cool.

Talking of this new threshold. Do we think the threshold was breached with either Brereton incident?

Any "threshold" doesn't apply because Brereton initiates contact.

It should just be a yellow card for diving and f*** off back to Spain.

No - but Montiel made it really easy for the penalty to be given. He was off his feet - so therefore out of control.
I totally agree on montiel. I’m not even complaining too much about the penalty although I think he played for it. But more the cheating for the yates second goal and the idea that it was enough to drop a 6ft 1 inch pro athlete.
