I’m being honest I thought Reyna dived. I don’t like any fouls where you have a delayed reaction. I thought the handball and Hudson odois were stonewall pens. However that’s the way the cookie crumbles. They obviously didn’t think they were obvious errors. I wish though we put this much scrutiny on management, players and the board though. Who have all been very bad this season and I include Cooper in that. It’s just been a complete shitshow.
Agree with most of this Emmo. Just my thoughts though, shouldn’t VAR be there to stop the cookie crumbling? Or at least to not have half as many crumbs that we have!

2 out of 3 on the penalties for me too.

People are forgetting it's 4 penalties;
Reyna
Handball
CHO
Holding/handball on Wood 2nd half

They could argue it wasn’t clear and obvious. There is a grey area which is the problem.

Day after day you lot go on about "corruption" and "cartels" and how you're sick and tired of it but the minute the club decide to speak up you just slate them for it instead of getting behind them, you should be proud your club is challenging the status quo.

Someone has to make the first move, personally I'd say well done to Forest for having the balls and it being them. You can't just moan about how you're not happy with things, want change etc but then keep quiet.
Spot on mate.

However, the usual doom mungers on here see it as another reason to crirltisize "the club"

Some of them want to get there arses to an actual game, never mind spending hours on here every day peddling their narratives.

Unfortunately it is not a new issue as far as you are concerned. Again you use emotive words ” crying” when you are covering up for the number of times you have called Nuno slow which is neither acceptable or correct. I have pointed out that your comment has conotations that are unacceptable.
Where have I tried to cover up that I think Nuno slow on the uptake? I think he is, and have never denied that. I think it's one of his biggest flaws, he always seems to be several steps behind.

You don't have to accept that, but you're in no position of authority to restrict my opinion on him. If you're reading more into it than that, then that's a you problem.

I'm still here Crewton
I heard about the tweet on talk sport on the way back.
No mention about our piss poor casual approach to defending the goals.
No mention of our passive play taking ages to get the ball forward.
No mention of the manager not changing anything of note during the game.
I could go on.
A 7 hour round trip to see yet another pathetic performance. Yes I know we're getting some terrible decisions but let's start getting stuck into these teams and show a bit of passion for God's sake.

I am not sure what I make of that game today moments change games and we had 3 moments where at least 1 if not all 3 pens if correctly awarded change the outcome of the game.

I felt our keeper was poor and maybe he should have saved 1 if not both goals the lack of closing down for both goals was very poor as well.

MGW and Wood has 1 great chance each Wood was unlucky MGW wasteful with his moment.

On the tweet I think the club tweeted what we were all thinking - something has to change with VAR they seem to be unable to use it correctly
its unacceptable.
FWIW also I thought that Niakhate had a good game - really pleased to see him back- and Murillo was decent. Both full backs were decent defensively. I don't think Danilo was bad at all for most of the game but might have done better closing down the shot for the second goal.
We were well in the game for at least an hour and up to that point I never thought that we would lose. It is worrying how we just fade out of key games for the last 20 minutes or more.

Now that the dust has settled a little bit. That statement on twitter is very very naive and will come back to bite us. If you’re gonna sue the PGMOL, sue them, let everyone find out when you do it.
This statement just isolates us, the Premier League, FA and PGMOL are gonna back each other, and probably use Forest as an example.
Yes. I share the sentiment but was immediately unsure about the wisdom of making such a public statement. If we stay up, it may serve to simply isolate us amongst other similarly placed clubs, even those who might be sympathetic to what we have experienced.

Fair play, the players took the piss out of the travelling fans today, I feel your pain.

Woeful.

Niakhate wont make a decent prem player as long as hes got a hole in his arse, hes so left footed its laughable, almost as laughable as the decision to play him on the right.

Hopefully we can cut our losses on him and make a tidy profit on Murilo in the summer.

No sleep lost here.

We'll need Niakhate when we sell Murillo.

If we have one footed CBs then we need one left and one right in the pairing and all our others are right footed.

It didn't work today - we need Boly in there when he's fit.

If we get rid of Niakhate we might get a player that can pass either way, or thats not unavailable every 2 weeks for whatever reason.

Hes shite, get rid asap.

Correct, but there are professional ways of doing it-not on social media seconds after the final whistle.
Whilst I agree for the majority of times ,it seems a lot gets swept under the carpet when it comes to the Premierleague as that's how they keep their reputation.

Doing it this way, whilst not the best way will genuinely bring the spotlight on the issue across the globe and other will start piping up.

Having got home I just feel incredibly low, I honesty can’t remember the last time I felt like this after a game.

I said earlier in the week that this was a game we had to come out in and go at them from the off. The first 10 minutes or so we seemed to be doing that and looked threatening and we then sat back and they had a flurry of heart in the mouth set pieces. That aside though we settled down but just didn’t have any intensity.

I thought the Reyna pen looked a bit of a dive from the other end of the pitch but when you see the replay it’s the same as Williams against West Ham, he’s kicked him and it’s a pen.

We then just started standing off and letting them have the ball. So, so poor not to put pressure on the ball for the goal, a total mis hit that of course finds the corner. Someone mentioned this elsewhere on another thread but the worst moment of the half for me came after that when Gueye picked up the ball 10 yards inside his own half and was given a free run all the way to our penalty area. Absolutely unbelievable and ultimately indicative of what lost us the game even though it didn’t result in a goal. Just so, so unacceptable.

But we pushed on and ended the half well, should have had the pen for handball. Again, looked dodgy from the away end, but hard to be sure, yet again though the replays are just obvious. Taylor has form for not giving those, he did it to Roma in the Europa League final but didn’t get any flak for it because of the way Mourinho went nuclear after the game. Feels like the same is happening again with this one and our tweet, but I digress.

Second half was all Forest but yet again we stand off and let someone ping one in from 25 yards. Everton created absolutely nothing today and yet we contrived to let them score from two potshots whilst missing a shed load of chances.

Then just to rub it in we get CHO crunched from behind when clean through. No penalty though because, well, just because.

Everton created absolutely nothing today and we still found a way to hand them two goals. We missed our chances and had Taylor and Attwell take other chances from us. Just a horrendous day that is EXACTLY the kind of thing that happens to teams that get relegated. And then you walk out of the ground and see we’ve gone nuclear on the PGMOL in unprofessional fashion.

A long ride home and even I’m starting to lose faith that we’ll stay up. That was utterly, utterly grim on every level.

Do want to end by saying I hope that Beto is ok though. That was a nasty fall and the fella looked in a bad way. Glad he was able to wave whilst being carried off to suggest he’s ok because that was awful to see. Oh, and the Sign On chants whilst a bloke is lying on the ground in a bad way? Have a look at yourselves if you joined in with that, absolutely shameful.

This has been the worst day of the season by far in a season full of terrible ones. Get this season in the bin.

3 stonewall pens and a 50:50 shout on Wood.

Reyna is kicked on his heel. He dives for sure, but more importantly it is a blatant foul because it forces his foot through the ball so he can't control it.

Blatant handball. It's not smashed across, and he moves his arm towards it. Easy decision to give.

Takes the ball my arse. Shit refereeing and VAR is, much like Forest, pointless.

Braithwaite tries to pull Wood's shirt off as Tarkowski holds him down.

4 penalty shouts, 2 blatant straight up, one obvious on review, one 50:50.

Then remember the penalty Rashford bought.
