Nowhere near. It is a shit result but if we had been more incisive with our good chances and closed down a couple of long range shots, maybe got a couple of penalties we should have got if the laws were applied properly we’d ha r won the game.

I don’t know how old you are but this ain’t in the top 20 pathetic games I have witnessed.
I’ve been watching them for 58 years, and in the context of what’s at stake, today’s performance is up there with some of the worst. Particularly when you look at what we’ve spent on players. And for me we’re kidding ourselves when we keep trotting out excuses like non-awarded penalties, not taking our chances, points deductions etc for infinity. We have been dreadful this season, and have certainly gone backwards on last season. We haven’t progressed because of poor club management, and not just bad luck.

Whether you agree or disagree, it is indisputable that his sacking has caused negativity amongst sections of our fanbase, which is my point.

You constantly trying to justify his sacking doesn't change the reaction and ill feeling it has caused.
Than I would say would you keep an under performing because they are liked? You may have a point but keeping him I don’t think would have improved things either. I would say that having a manager that continues the sitting deep strategy has caused more negativity than the actual change in manager. It feels like we haven’t changed the manager at all. It’s all very much a continuity. I want us to be more a forward foot side and that’s been our biggest problem. If you keep inviting teams on you can get yourself in a hole.

Exactly you can accept a ref making a error in split second but you can't accept refs watching it in VAR room on a video replay and not giving it, or not being consistent on what is considered handball, a penalty offence etc.
I never have an issue with a ref on the field not giving something. It is difficult. But also nowadays if I was refereeing a game and I knew there was a VAR safety net why would I dive in to a decision when I know someone can mop up an error after? I make decisions at work and I’m big enough to hold my hands up if it is the wrong one.

In this situation, or these many situations we have faced recently why would a ref be bothered if someone with the benefit of a million views, slow motion, differing angles etc… came to a more conclusive or different decision to me?

It’s mental that time and time again these refs aren’t helped out by their colleagues who have the benefit of technology. Just get rid of it because time and time again they aren’t correcting mistakes, or clarifying uncertainty.

It has to be something more.

Listen ! I've been watching Forest since the 1950's . Yes I'm getting on a bit . I have seen our hurtful days and the glory of 1959 and 1978 . But please did we deserve to lose this ?
Please stop your moaning and get behind the team . Are you really Forest true supporters ?
Yes and thank you for your loyal support..you should have asked this question around 4 months ago when Omar was lurking about.

I've never known a Ref , Linesman or now VAR ever get punished for being in the wrong so why bother complaining. Sort out the lacklustre team.

Brian Laws talking through his bollocks about 2 of our penalty claims being contentious but the 3rd was a cert

They were ALL certs
There were actually 4 as well. If wood and origi had manhandled one Everton defender like wood was that would have been a foul no questions asked.

Laws was probably judging it from his day where you could smash someone from behind and it would have been waved away.

I am considering not watching anymore football this season as it is really making me angry. I can cope with my team being shit, that's just supporting your team. I cannot cope with this biased agenda against Forest week in week out. Football has rules and VAR has a process that is there to ensure same rules for both sides. It cannot be that there are so many incompetent officials in our games so they must be corrupt.

I think I will see you all again next season whatever division we have been allocated by the PL and ref/VAR - this isnt fair to my family anymore me being this angry about refs all the time

It’s not even just Forest. I hate watching any of it now. I get so angry with some of the bollocks decisions. Absolutely inept and making a farce of football.

VAR, points deductions, rules that force you to sell your best players on the cheap, selling hotels to each other, price going up, FA cup changes to benefit Juergen and Pep.

I just don’t know if it’s worth it anymore.

This is before they mention the two teams that have been waiting nearly 2 seasons for their Financial breaches to be heard.

I respectfully don’t see it as anywhere up there Simmo. It is disappointing of course but we were playing a team who have been established for years, have good players and were at home. We probably edged the game. We didn’t down tools or anything. If decisions or the run of the green went our way we win the game.

Nuno has just said

"If this was in another country it would be talked about as corruption but you don't here for someone reason"
This is a full line whip. Everyone coming out singing from the same hymn sheet.
Yeah, we've been shit on the pitch, but, tell it how it is.
