I agree Flaggers.
Aside from his nice jink to pull his shot off he was hopeless.
A yard off the pace, no desire and generally just looked like he wishes he was elsewhere.

He always seemed to be standing right in the middle of our passing lanes in midfield- particularly when we tried to work it forward to CHO. More a hindrance than a help at times.

Whether it be unfamiliarity or positional naivety remains to be seen.

Agree. And he wasn't brave on the ball.

Meh.

If the answer to our problems is to shoehorn in a mediocre Reyna whilst forcing our most dangerous and consistent player into a deeper role which he's never really played before then our problems are much larger than most realise.

Nuno, start Tues with our best 11, no that is not Sangare or Felipe. Don't give the other side a head start because you want to have something to bring on from the bench. Give partnerships time to flourish instead of changing them all the time. You should already have seen a lot of players that work together all over the pitch, use them. Only change for injuries.

We definitely have a team to beat Fulham, the thing is, will Nuno pick it...

COYR!

I hope so but I don't see it. Don't think any of our lads get in their team and even today, they were completely off it and still managed to not lose.

The way Palace were wasting time from the tenth minute after they scored was annoying. They'd have got about eight yellow cards at the start of the season when the rules were different.

First halh was as bad as anything we've seen this season. Slow and ponderous, devoid of ideas. Possession coughed up (again) for their goal.

Bit more dynamic second half. Got it down the wings quicker, a cross, ball on Wood's head and we score. Easy game football...at times!

Too much sideways and backwards for me. Palace were there for the taking and we largely bottled it.

Puts the pressure on now, to get a win against Fulham.

Just replay the last 3 minutes of the Liverpool match and note what we got 2 yellow cards for, and compare with yesterday...

Dissapoinring line up, performance and result for me. No point in dressing it up any other way.

To not start Elanga in a game like that was utterly baffling, Nuno's picks and subs are at times difficult to understand. Yates and Sangare where like headless chickens in the first half. Better 2nd half over all but as usual its too little too late.

Hard to see where a win comes from at this point.

Shite.

Sounds like I’m going to be out on my own with this one, but here goes anyway - I actually like Origi on the right and am a tad surprised by the criticism he gets.

Whilst i'll agree that he looks better than you might expect, thats about it.

Nuno has pace on the flanks and is choosing not to use it because of what? Origi is not a winger, never has been. Elanga is a winger.

Round holes round pegs, surely?

So the criticism should be aimed at the manager instead. Which, to be fair, it has. But Origi has copped his fair share and it’s that part I think is harsh. I think he’s done more than ok in what he’s been asked to do that’s all.

Fair enough, Ive not critisized Origi personally, its on the manager 100%. Hes done the job hes been asked. Yates might do better in goal than we expect, doesnt make him a keeper though!

Apart from the fact we looked far more of a threat down the right, had more possession and scored, no real difference at all.

Origi literally did nothing and should have been hooked at least fifteen minutes earlier than he was.

Elanga at least got involved with some of the interchanges, made some off the ball runs and gave Palace something to think about.

I'm fed up of seeing Origi wide right. I despise seeing him on the team sheet, I despise seeing Elanga up front when Origi is wide right and I'm starting to despise Nuno for choosing it so often. The persistence with something which is so obviously broken is infuriating, it's like this year's Freuler-Shelvey-Colback experiment.

I dont want to jump on Origi because hes doing his best I guess.

The issue I have is 2 fold. When wood was injured he had a career winger (Elanga) playing at 9 and a career 9 playing on the wing. Total inbalance.

Yesterday he chooses to leave our biggest threat with pace out, and keep Origi on the wing.

Dont understand either.

Isnt it obvious that by having pace up top you dictate the way the opposition play? As soon as Elanga came on they dropped deeper which allowed is more of the ball, why didnt he start a game we needed to go all out attacking wise?

If anyone watching that couldnt see the difference Elanga made then they definately view the game differently to me, whichever one is correct.

I think relegation and the idea of it has been burnt in by expectation from the players as much as anything. I couldn’t watch the game so listening to 5 live they pretty much summed it up re First half in that Forest will go down on that performance no question.. so they got more attacking second half of course

We’ve seen all this before though, there’s a fine balance between playing safe and giving some risk. I’m f***ing sick and tired of Nuno and his risk management myself and I’m pretty sure so is EM. You’ll see
