I think it is a must not lose game. I think we will draw and that the real sustained fightback will start with the Palace game. I believe still that we will stay up, come what may.
We might see Aina back as left back.
Yes, but if Nuno sets us up to be hard to beat, we will be.
Meerkat simples.
All in. It's the only way.

Luton have shown they are prepared to go in swinging whilst we are set up to defend. If that happens then we will eventually get tagged and have no one else to blame.

In those circumstances their attack only has to get it y right once, and our back line has to get it right for 90 mins.

I wonder how that would pan out.

Not sure why people are so afraid of Luton's alleged staunch team spirit - they're 18th for a reason and their form is terrible. For all their gusto it rarely ever translates into wins.

The importance of the game adds an extra element and yes there will be a dodgy refereeing decision to our detriment, but besides those things we have the better squad, no reason we shouldn't expect to go there and draw at the absolute least
All of a sudden people seem to see Luton as unbeatable! They do have great attitude but they are crap. Nuno has to be positive in his selection and tactics then we'll get 3 points.
Don't let the fear of conceding a goal define us. Get at them with pace and lots of energy. As Ted Lasso would say "BELIEVE".

And to me your post reflects why we are not favourites to win this game.
Luton style is simple, basic, and they do it well.
Teams have to meet their robust simplicity with robustness.
They have struggled lately, but show any weakness and they will exploit them.
Our weaknesses seem to play to thier strengths.

Any guesses on what minute the controversial VAR decision against us will be?

My thinking is probably just before half time, the past few weeks they have been leaving it very late in the game to screw us over, so I think the ref's will have learnt from that, and try to do it earlier in the game.

I don’t think Luton are shit. I have no confidence in us getting a result at this stage. Hopefully I am proven wrong on that one.

2-0 up at home to Luton was the moment it went tits up. Pivotal moment in our PL tenure.

Really well, I mean, look at where they are. They're so f***ing good at it!!

We're playing Luton. Luton. Not Man City, not Arsenal, not even West Ham or Newcastle. Luton.

They're shit. And if they beat us it says we are really shit. What it won't say is that they are good, they're not.
I didn't say they were good.
We play nowhere our potential.
They play close to theirs.
Our potential is significantly better than theirs.
Our actual reduces us to be below their actual.
And that is why I say they would deserve to stay up.
Much as I used to say Brian & Peter's team deserved all the glittering prizes despite the limitations, simply because under them those players played right up to their max.
If you really believe our current players are maxing things out, you are watching a different set of players to me.

If we were playing anyone else I would go with Sangare to get the minutes in that he obviously needs. Against Luton though it's going to get a lot more physical and that's where Yates does his best work.

Sangare will get blown away in this one.

Absolutely cannot lose. Draw followed by 2 wins a near minimum. Anything less than 2 wins in the next 3 winnable games and we can forget about a new ground and should concentrate on finding new coaches (I don't want NES gone).

No VAR excuses. Best team to start and start fast.
