Was close to you for 6 and a half years in Mount Hawke. Only pub we used to frequent in your neck of the woods was The Treleigh Arms.Raised in West Bridgford, a few hundred metres from City Ground - which was useful. Left in early 1980s for Witham, Essex. Then Redruth, Cornwall at turn of the century

Dogs are ace, always dragging you to the pub.Still a good call for decent beer - my dog keeps dragging me in when we're off for a walk. He steered my sister in there too when she was looking after him for the day!
Not questioning you at all. You are righteous. But can you show some working out?I'm from Padova in Italy.
I don't support any Italian team.
Only the Mighty Reds.
Sorry buddy I don't understand your question. Not questioning you at all. You are righteous. But can you show some working out?

Why does an Italian bloke support the MIGHTY, MIGHTY reds?Sorry buddy I don't understand your question.
Not even Padova who are managed by Matteo Andreoletti who almost achieved a miracle by getting Pro Sesto into B?I'm from Padova in Italy.

I was born in Nottingham and lived there in my childhood years and also later as an adult. I have fond memories of sneaking into the WF City Ground on match days, to watch the likes of Ian Storey Moore, Duncan McKenzie ecc and then again later through the '90s.Why does an Italian bloke support the MIGHTY, MIGHTY reds?
Thanks to your dad (and you) - he must be a man of great taste and intelligence.Kraljevo (Kingstown), Serbia.
Lifelong fan, passed down to me from my dad, who is also a Forest fan since the 70s.
Forest was really popular in ex-Yugoslavia back then.
I support my local team, 3rd Serbian tier, Sloga (United) Kraljevo, as I used to play for them and some of my friends still do.
I'll bet there are plenty who wish they did. A good friend introduced me to it and drove me through it. We caught the train to the WFCG in Aslockton.Anyone else live in the Vale of Belvoir?

Beautiful part of the world. Aslockton was the birth place of Thomas Cranmer.
Some of the locals are a bit dodgy, though…I'll bet there are plenty who wish they did. A good friend introduced me to it and drove me through it. We caught the train to the WFCG in Aslockton.

Being a history nut, that is very interesting.Stockton was the birth place of Thomas Cranmer.
Well, my dad really liked Brian Clough, so he thought that Not Forest was interesting and the rest is history for my family. Football was extremely popular back then, where you had Big 4 in Yugoslavia, Red Star, Dinamo Zagreb, Partizan and Hajduk Split. I mean, these clubs are pretty big in their countries even today, you have Red Star and Dinamo in the Champions League this year, but the quality of the football league dropped significantly since the break up of the country, where you play against village clubs in the top tier nowdays, both in Croatia and Serbia, so nobody goes to the stadiums anymore. Thanks to your dad (and you) - he must be a man of great taste and intelligence.
I’ve got a soft spot for Serbia since I went to Belgrade in ‘87 as a cheeky 17 year old to watch Forests Neil Webb help England to a 4-1 win. Me and some mates sneaked out the hotel we were being kept in and had a great night out clubbing the night before the match.
Loved the passion for football there though. Milenkovic is doing us all proud - what a difference he’s made, top top defender.
