They're a 2nd Division team. The money must be good to make that move.
In a way it makes me feel better-clearly Grabbs is on the "mum needs a new house tour" now and after every dinar he can get (tax free). Thats not meant as a criticism by the way. They're a 2nd Division team. The money must be good to make that move.
They had a surprise relegation last year, they are one of the biggest sides in the Middle East so they will still have plenty of dosh. They're a 2nd Division team. The money must be good to make that move.
Yeah, absolutely. I'm sure Grabbs will bag a bucketful and help them get promoted for his bonuses to come up |They had a surprise relegation last year, they are one of the biggest sides in the Middle East so they will still have plenty of dosh.
I really liked Grabban but I'm also delighted I'll never have to watch him step to a take a penalty for us ever again. It was like flipping a coin as to whether he would score.Scored from the Penalty spot in a 1-0 win today.
Behind a pay wall so I can't see the full article but I'd imagine we offered him much less than he was on previously with his age so he probably felt he had little choice.
I personally thought he could've done a job for us at least in a sub capacity but I can understand why the club were reluctant to offer him too much.
He'd have got 15 goals imo.
Bostik.In the Premier League?
Only Salah, Son, Ronaldo, Kane, Mane, Jota, De Bruyne and Vardy scored 15 goals or more last year.
They all played for teams that finished in the top 8 last year.
I like Grabban but you must’ve been sniffing glue when you posted that mate.

I believe you’re correct. He would still do well in the championship if he fancied it imo.Wonder if he'll hang it up, believe the deal in Saudi was only for a year and think he actually left in January.
I'd have backed Grabs to do a better job than either of those two, certainly. If he left in jan you would have thought he would have been a bit more of an obvious choice than ayew and potentially wood to have covered up front while everyone was injured!
Funnily enough, and by complete coincidence, I bumped into my old mate Lewis McGugan in Ruddington Co-Op the week before last.Maybe they thought they were signing Lewis McGugan
What, he was svelte around the midriff in his playing days??Funnily enough, and by complete coincidence, I bumped into my old mate Lewis McGugan in Ruddington Co-Op the week before last.
He is looking very well, albeit not as svelte around the midriff as he did in his playing days.
(Granted, Lewis was never the most physique-conscious of players, but he has put on a bit of timber since he hung up his boots; but then again, haven’t we all!)
One meal a day?Not me - I'm back to wearing the same 28-30 inch waist jeans I did at college (not the actual ones before anyone says it) having drifted into eating just one meal a day. Works well for me but I know others would struggle
That could be fun.If anyone is keeping track, Lewis is now training with and rumoured to be signing for Exeter City.
